We get guild spam all day long now in mirage raceway. Is this really what the LFG channel is meant for ?
Can we need create a new channel where they can spam as much as they want to, without annoying the rest of the server?

Yes. A guild is a group that are looking for players for group content. Thats LFG in my book.

LFG = Looking for group / players etc, in which is in the correct channel.
I’m struggling to understand your objection for a group of players looking for folk to participate in group content on a group content hook up channel

There’s litterally a looking for guild channel too,you’d think people would figure out that it’s where guild recruitment should go

For me it helped to remove 4 and use the other channel 5 to get rid of it with that addon
I tried to do that but I couldn’t right click their names and had to /who and ignore but as soon as I did that 1-2 others did the same, more annoying than the gold sellers that spammed with invites witch you actually was able to stop.
Because it’s a very long spam that makes you miss dungeons that you are looking for
Come on - if you are looking for an instance you are unlikely to miss an opportunity because of guild spam

Channel 4 seems to swap owners a lot - I don’t see much activity on there usually
I keep them both open - and don’t find it annoying in the least
It lets me see lower levers struggling with Elite quests - so if I can’t get a group I often hop over and help them
I just think it’s a non-issue to be honest - not worth complaining over
It’s wasn’t until today or it’s just mirage raceway, it was so much spam that it was unbearable that I had to find a way to get rid of it
I have the addon too but I couldn’t make sense of it, maybe it’s a plug in for lfg

Therev is an actually guild recruit channel so you are wrong.
@OP my classic is pretty good we report guilds pretty quick and then they shut up.
Nobody uses the guild recruit channel.
Everyone uses world/LFG/trade.
