I think the Horde vs Horde BGs aswell as cross realm BGs ruin the social aspect of knowing who you fight for and who against…
They ruined PvP with all of these changes

With horrible LFG, evil allies afk in dalaran and teleport to dungeon.
Delete LFG.

will LFD lead to wow becomming a solo player game? I thought that mechanic was to find other player to play with. Am I missing something here ?

Download LFG bulletin board
Sit in Shattrath
Find someone looking for your role
/w them “insert class” and role if necessary.
Either get no reply (kek, rogues) or just an invite
“Someone help me summon plz”
Get summoned
Run dungeon
“gg”
Leave party
With the LFD tool:
Sit in Dalaran
Select your role
Wait for the que to pop
Run dungeon
“gg”

This has been my experience leveling two healers through dungeon spam in TBC, can anyone honestly say that their LFG experience has been any different since phase 2?
There is no grand adventure or meaningful game play experience you’re missing out on, you’re just wasting between 5-30 minutes having to fly/walk there manually and summon.
People who talk in dungeons will keep talking in dungeons and the silent types will remain silent.
I 100% agree that the LFD tool should be server based to discourage ninjas and general douchebaggery though.

By this logic, why not removing solo queue BG too, so that if you wanna play BG you have to group up like for raids? Why not replacing most solo quests with group quests so that, if you wanna play quests at all, you need to group up?

The social aspect is no different than on “retail”. Everything I experience atm is like @Steinkastar has mentioned.
Its even more annoying, because with LFD u can just go Your way and I don’t know, farm dailies, farm mines. With chats and lfg addon u are distracted, u need to pay attention mostly on the chat spam or if /lfg updates.

For me its indifferent, we can have LFR in WOTLK.
After 3 years in classic, the /lfg spam is just stupid, I already said in some other topic I had to apologize to RDF. My take on it changed 180 degrees after those 3 years.
The dissapointment in those supposed “social interactions” I was supposed to have in the superior vanilla version and so on :).
You dont like that ppl are looking for groups in the LookingForGroup channel?
