Not neccessarily, no. But it makes it easier to check who is searching for the same content as you do atm.
AND you don’t need to annoy tons of people by randomly whispering them with: ‘Wanna heal DM?!!1111111’ just because the happen to be in said lvl range.

Ok. I normally just use LFG channel. I think that works quite nice.
Have never felt annoyed with people asking for grouping
