LFR needs urgent fixing

Maybe because the gear is legit trash nobody queues for it and that’s why you can’t complete your transmog? idk dude, you should’ve farmed it while it was current content or just wait for the next expansions.

Ok, hear me out, I have nothing against LFR but going into it to learn mechanics is no good. Nothing hits the way it’s supposed to, abilities that should one shot you don’t, many mechanics aren’t included.

IMO, you’re gimping yourself if you’re doing LFR to learn mechanics.

I also started in normal dungeons, then heroic, then mythic and then M+. Dont tell me i should start in M+26 to start doing stuff properly immediately. This is how you see and learn and are able to make mistakes and slowly get higher.

I’m not saying that. Take what you will from my post, but the LFR bosses have barely any mechanics and they don’t prepare you at all for higher difficulties.

I haven’t really done any LFR this expansions but during Legion I was farming some pants (lfr colouring) from Coven and you could stack bosses at all times. In any other difficulty, that’s one of the gimmicks of the fight, you can’t have them together otherwise they take no dmg.

IDK how most of the BFA LFR bosses are like, but if they’re missing their gimmicks then it’s no good for learning imo.

That is where we are different. I like it i get per difficulty another mechanic added  So it is not completely overwhelming. On normal atal dazar totemboss you didnt need to kill the totems at the same time either. Still it had the crap and stuff.

I agree with this to some extent (many bosses in the past have been a shadow of their “real” selves) but not everyone has the friends/guild or the confidence to jump straight into normal. Taking slow steps where new mechanics are added at each difficulty is fine for some people. I am surprised by how many mechanics were left in LFR for Ny’alotha. I really thought that the Prophet Skitra illusions would be gone/heavily amended since it requires some level of communication and coordination, but no, the mechanic is there and groups will wipe when no one communicates. Ny’alotha LFR seems surprisingly untouched.

well lfr purpose is that solo players can experience the story. funny enough when it d oesnt give any gear nobody seems to be interested in experiencing the story anymore X)

Exaclty this, usually the excuse for LFR was “I don’t have a guild or I can’t experience harder difficulties but I still want to see the story”

LFR imo is there just for super casual that just wanna see the raid, if you care a little bit about your gaming experience, just pug normal, there is not really any enormous difficulty spike.

You need to entice a variety of players into LFR, no gear or ugly sets makes it unpopular. People not liking the sets is one of the big problems in general in BfA due to the removal of tier and just going with one cloth, leather, mail, plate set themed to the raid. Other incentives for people to complete LFR have been currencies or things like Azerite Power. The rewards for doing LFR (for many) are not worth the time it takes.

In other expansions the carrot they dangled to get people to do LFR was sufficient but people later complain they feel it’s compulsory.

I did the first wing twice and there were no wipes. I didn’t have a good group, either. Except one person, everyone was doing below 20k dps.

If you want better loot from LFR, you have to increase the difficulty. When we had more difficult LFRs, people didn’t like that, either.

 oh oh oh, that is quite sad.

It’s always tricky for Blizz to balance stuff in that way.

Its a problem without a solution.
As a content, it’s so trivial that if you add a mount or a pet or other decent rewards people would felt pushed into it as mandatory content, but if you don’t add anything, people would skip it entirely.
Put it to rest would be a better solution.

Plus in BfA, not just LfR, now they put this extremely ugly gear (ok that’s a taste issue maybe). So me personally, I don’t see a reason to farm sets

This will happen eventually when they will cut down on raids. See, without LFR the participation in raids it’s not enough to justify the cost of them.

Fix LFR? Remove LFR better.

Dont do LFR when you dont like it. Let us enjoy our game. I am also not asking for removal of PvP just because i dont like it.

The opposite.
If possible, LFR is the least populated raid group, meaning that people do it once or twice and they’re done.
Repeated use of the content comes from the higher difficulties and in the end, its what keeps people subbed.
Even without lfr, raids are always justified in costs because they are key part of what keeps people playing.

nah it should stay bad because even current tier LFR loot should be bad because LFR takes no effort at all and it’s dogsh*t tier content.

As officially stated by Blizzard in the past, this is not true. Don’t get fooled by the forum goers, in reality most people don’t bother with raids.
