There is a high possiblity for it, it is a topic that just want to be pulled in that way.
But if we just keep the conversation good and use the mental filter when the ugly comments enter, then it will do it’s purpose, and we can move along to the topics that burns the heart of many players or streamers

The OP have not made a channel that prohibits any orientation. Just as a bar that targets the LGBT community welcomes all patrons that respect the space they are in.

The first can make sense, if their is a language restriction/country time restriction.

There’s no accountant, astronomer or pauper community recruiting though. I mean, it’s just a game, who cares what your sexual orientation is, why tell it to the entire world.
I just want politics out of games. I was against free Hong Kong spam which was going on few weeks ago. The less RL stuff, the better.

When communities first went live there was a British one that got a lot of abuse, don’t know if it lasted or is still going but the hate it got for being “racist” was vile.

I dont care about peoples sexuality, I just think its wildly unnecessary to have some kind of closed lgbtbbq community in a fantasy game. In real life its needed yes. But in a fantasy game, where people are already free to play what they want, and no1 gives a crap about what the person behind the pc is into, why still make these communities…

But it’s not closed as such was not stated by the OP.
If they put, for example “Only LGTBQ+ friendly people and no straight, white people allowed” then we’d have an issue, but they haven’t said that.

If it was a closed community, they would not have posted an open invite on the general discussion forums. It would be by specific invite only.
The purpose of the community is not to “tell it to the world”. It’s about providing a safe space to socialize without receiving negative responses.
