Humans / Worgen / Kul’Tirans: Propably like Humans on our World

Dranei and LF Draenei: Functionally immortal, as far as i know.

Gnomes: I think a near human lifespan

Undead: Functionally immortal as long as there are spare parts.

Goblins: As far as i know shortlived but breed fast. Consider them sentient rabbits.

Mag’Har and Orcs: Close to humans, we know Saurfang is around 70 and he is considered old. Drek’thar is older.

Pandaren: No real source, but i think close to humans, at max around 100 years.

Highmountain/Bloodhoof Tauren: again, close to Human life span

Dwarves: longer than Humans, i thing 200 years but i don’t really know.
Dark Iron Dwarves: same as dwarves, they are the same race.

Trolls: Most trolls don’t get old because they die a violent death. I think close to Humans when they are allowed to reach that age. But Loa play a role and special characters can get older when gifted by them.

Zandalari Trolls: same as trolls maybe a bit longer, Rastakhan was more than 200 years old, but he was gifted by Rezan

Night Elves: Functionally immortal

High Elves, Blood Elves, Void Elves: Same as High elves, again same race just imbued with Fel (mostly cleansed) or Void.

Nightborne Elves: Thalyssra lived during the War of the Ancients, so they propably are as immortal as Nightelves.

It is hard to say with Elves, a lot of their life-spam comes from their sources of power rather than just aging.

No. We have about nothing. We had numbers in the old RPG, but Blizz didn’t really orient themselves on them, so… we have some quotes that we try to interpret. Here is a list:

All I know is all Draenei are immortal. We don’t age because we want to look dashing and cute for all time.

Also Humans can live up to a thousand years if they go through the Lightforging process, such as Turalyon, who has lived far beyond his natural lifespan, as he was deemed worthy by the insufferable chandelier Xe’ra.

He gave up his humanity along with his title and allegiance. He is a Lightforged Exarch now, not longer a human Paladin.

This is correct.

I see some people throwing numbers around but with the RPG not being canon and a lot of stuff being retconned or remaining vague, we can’t say anything worthwhile. The Draenei can get very old, that’s what we can understand from anecdotes in Rise of the Horde for example, but Night Elves are hard to guess. They used to be immortal, but they lost their immortality and their lifespan is now decreasing, so no exact numbers on that.

I think that the Wowpedia article shows how little we know about lifespans. I think that RP’ers still use the RPG books as reference though.

EDIT

Probably the most accurate description of her I’ve seen in a while.

No? Just because you become Lightforged doesn’t mean that you cease to be a member of your original race. Otherwise, Yrel is no longer a Draenei, Exarch Hellscream is no longer an orc, the name “Lightforged Draenei” is a contradiction. Turalyon is still a Human. Just like being a weeb doesn’t make you a Japanese, talking, dressing and acting like a Draenei doesn’t suddenly make you a Draenei.

But He took their culture as Well and got a Titel and became their Leader. What do You think influenced him more… 30 years with Humans, or 1000 years with draenei.

It really isn’t rocket science. Does he have a tail? Does he have hooves? Is he blue-skinned? Does he have stupid tentacles as a beard? No, so he is no Draenei. It doesn’t matter what influenced him the most, biologically he is a Human, and biologically he is a Human who lived for a thousand years.

Way longer. Gnomes are still considered teenagers at age of 22.

Kinndy Sparkshine. She was perky even for a gnome, with a shock of bright pink hair pulled back in pigtails that made her look much younger than her twenty-two years— just a teenager by her people’s reckoning of age.

Golden, Christie. World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War (p. 38). Pocket Books. Kindle Edition.

It’s safer to assume that Lightforging either extends one’s lifespan or makes them immortal as their body is reforged anew through the Light. So this shouldn’t count towards humanity’s lifespan because it isn’t innate feature of the species.

Draenei aren’t immortal. If Velen aged and is old man it means that they’ll reach their death at some point.

Helves/Belves/Velves aren’t immortal either, their leader was also old man before he died to Arthas.

As for trolls, rpg stuff is no longer canon, and the only confirmation we had was a blue post saying that they can reach 250 years. Which for me is a nice lifespan.

Anything from 120 -200 is actually pretty good in my book. Not too short and not ridiculously long.

Last I heard normal Draenei are near-immortal, with Velen being the sole immortal one. Lightforged are all immortal?

Which is still weird as Rastakhan is the odd one out and he reacher 200 years with the help of a Loa and not by any natural means!

I know that Xe’ra was extending their lives, but Lillidan kinda glared her down.

We don’t know at which point Rastakhan became a King we know that he was ruling over 200 years.

They are functionally immortal from view point of other mortals. I don’t think any other race has 25k+ year lifespan.

It means they can become living fossils, but immortality is such abstract concept.

That’s why I said functionally immortal; not that they were immortal. They live so long that lifespan isn’t relevant to the story written because it will never become an issue at such short span of time.

Given Velen is only old looking Draenei we have met and there are other Draenei that still remember Argus pre-Legion. Draenei lifespan probably is something like 1000 years to 1 year conversion when compared to human lifespan.

i don’t think he is still human. His physiology has been changed by the lightforging. If he was still human, there would only be dust left of him.
It just used the Human form as a canvas.

Put differently: I don’t think it’s the Human in him that is (near?) immortal, but the Lightforged part of him, that makes him immortal.
