5x 418 items - unless you want to craft a 2-hander, in which case it’s 4x418. The rest of what you have will be more like 400, depending on how many vaults went past.
While you can effectively say that 50 dungeons earns you 4-5 BiS items, you’re nowhere near maxed out. You have given yourself a good foundation to work around, but that’s all.
And now you’re stuck waiting for the weekly handout from the vault - or pushing 20s, which let’s be honest, is beyond all but a slim minority of players. The gear acquisition bar has been set very high this season, and a lot of people are basically going to have to settle for never having the best stuff.
Whether that’s good or bad will depend on your point of view
Yes, I was responding to someone considering catch-up to be ~400-408.
The notion of maxing out gear after 50 runs is ludicrous. I’m downright glad that isn’t the case. I love playing and gaining gear, and I want that feeling to sustain itself for more than 3 weeks.
My point of view is this is fine. The best stuff is given to the best players. If you want better gear you should hunker down and learn to play WoW. Gear is its carrot.
I mean… he shouldnt be the one complaining,he can do mythic raid for example on his alts and im pretty sure people will share gear with him, same is applied to normal and heroic raids, but what about “average” players?
Imo,that loot system for pug raids sucks.
People roll need for those items they dont really need just to take it. Will they trade? Nope.
They claimed that “in every raid every player will get about 4 items”. Doing raids on few chars every week and i got 4 items from the raid in total. Why? Read above.
Gearing to a certain level doesnt take much time, especially that you can transfer your primal chaos and craft certain items for starters which wont get you 420 ilvl but at least something
What I hear is “I want to press a button and be equipped with every BiS item imaginable, even though I have the resources and time to farm the best gear because I get paid to play this game”
