And what is with this queue, why should we wait in queue once we pay a subscription? Why not get the queue started and allow us to do something else, explore other server in the mean time, do something else and not wait next to computer doing nothing and scared perhaps we lose the queue.

Look its a sh"t situation to not be able to get into the server you want.
Its also a sh"t situation to be on a server with 4 hour queues ajd continous crashs due to instability.
Theres a reason modern systems like cross server play are introduced in every mmorpg that lives today, theres a reason old systems were left behind.
But proclaiming one situation is better then the other is the moment i disagree with you. 4+ hour queues in a gsme paid monthly for are simply unacceptable and its blizzards job to prevent that.
Will this crack a few eggs yes its gonna. Server locks are annoying, however vital. I pay for a game to be monitored. And such situations prevented, not to watch a team lounge about and watch insanity break out.

If blizzard stated “we are locking for the hype however once past we will open free server migrations”. Or offer free migration to players on full servers to move to servers with their friends.

These steps must be taken yes, however follow up actions need also to happen.

To be fair a followup has been made already. Lone wolf got unlocked.
They could do more like free migration to other realms but lets be honest these people will rather wait until it is unlocked, expecting others to transfer off and solving the problem for them.
