Blizzard is clearly willing to change and develop and write the story of the game and it’s world to be inclusive to more people and account for peoples problems and issues.

Wasn’t arachnophobia mode made by a dev with arachnophobia so he could work on the game and they decided to iron it out and make it public? At least that’s what I’ve heard.
But even if this story is just an urban legend, let’s be real the fairness argument isn’t what you thought it is. WoW has so many niches that most of the things the devs work on don’t benefit more than 90% of the playerbase, sometimes not even 50%.
Do they scrap mythic raids because it’s only for the top percentage? PvP because it’s a side activity? Just scrap the zones and have everyone play queue simulator?
The devs work on many things at once and if the execs believe the next cynophobia or entomophobia or ophidiophobia mode will make them more money then the devs will be tasked with implementing it.

Blizzard hypothetically can do something about major phobias and we all know how that will go.
