Locked server - nethergarde keep?

Hello
Not played on Classic cata and about to re-start to find my se4rv is totaly dead and “locked” it seems?
Tried to google what locked mean but dont get any info, am my characters lost and not able to play MOP?

You should still be ble to use the free transfer option to get your characters to Mirage Raceway or Pyrewood if you want to.

The Funny thing is, these server are still not closed, but only locked. So all guilds who decided to stay can still play on their calm little realm.

Aha and may i ask how i use this free transfer? if you know that is (i did check ingame mail for any info but found none)

Usually you go to the realm, and on character selection screen use the shop icon in the bottom left corner. There will be selections of services and free transfer.

Thanks, seems correct, only checked on char but that has a free transfer.
