Logistic tasks

Been trying to get the low number tasks that require stuff I can actually make and just keep getting VI, VII, VIII, IX, X over and over. Are these entirely RNG or is something skewing what I get?

Yeh something seriously up with this, just won’t give me I, II, or III.

This is correct. Some of the logistics assignments will only be rewarded from follow up assignment. The envelope you recieve after completing one.

Also Horde and Alliance doesn’t have the exact same assignments either.

Ok well that would explain why certain ones aren’t coming up at all. Wowhead reckons I, II, III, VIII & IX are the first assignments you get and IV, V, VI, VII & X are follow-up. Which isn’t how mine seem to have come out. Possibly it’s different for everyone or something. Guess I’m gonna have to double down on the 2 I can just about manage from my first selection to get to the ‘easy’ ones.

You can get the following tasks from the initial field duty:

IV - Alli explosives, Horde mojo.
V - Scrying (Enchanting) Materials
VI - Arms (Alli swords, Horde axes)
VII - Armor Kits
X - Bandages

After completing one of those, you get a followup asignment, which can contain:

I - Desert sutvival kits (food, water, anti-venom)
II - Mithril boots
III - Grinding Stones
VIII - Uniform supplies (Mooncloth!)
IX - Extraordinary materials (enchanted leathers and bars)
XI - Skin of Shadows and Freyed Abo Stitchings for Mark of Remulos (for the Stalwart’s Battlegear quest at CC revered)

This is completely set and predictible, and it seems you have similar chance of geting any task from the list (any one isn’t significantly more likely than others)

yep. Wowhead somewhat unreliable on this one.

That is exactly how it is described on wowhead, I have no idea what you are on about, man.

Not in the bit I’ve been looking at. Guess I’m looking at the wrong thing. I click on the Logistic Assignment item link (the one that looks like a bundle of letters) and the quests linked under are: Extraordinary Materials, Grinding Stones for the Guard, Desert Survival Kits, Boots for the Guard & Uniform Supplies.

edit - yep, I’m looking at the wrong thing, actualy a proper Field Duty guide up now. hadn’t noticed that before.
