is the quest in AV “Lokholar the Ice Lord” bugged?
i just contributed blood in the cave, about 55/200.
i escorted the tauren to where she sets up the summoning.
i was one of the 10 that summoned.
i then fought with Lokholar the Ice Lord for a bit in the field of strife.
but i cant hand in the quest for 1500 honor.
does anyone else have this?
Afaik the 1500 honor is a different quest.
I just looted some random alliance and it dropped the quest item and I turned it immediately.
No need to summon or anything.
you turn in 1 or 5 of these to contribute towards the 200 needed to summon. the quest requirement changes from:
“0/1 stormpike soldier’s blood”
to something like
“speak to Primalist Thurloga”
but there is no option to turn in the quest that rewards 1500 honor.
im guessing this is an additional quest, and that you dont get 1500 honor for every 5 blood you get. that would be an insane source of honor.
then when i leave, it resets to “0/1 stormpike soldier’s blood” unlike the others which stay complete and just need to be clicked on.
Due to how the honor system changed since Tbc and onwards it most likely never changed or was never really looked at.
During vanilla the amount of Honor you’d get was much higher then in any of the later incarnations.
What I’m guessing is that the Honor points were changed automatically but the number never did. And the Npc where you turn in tge quest got removed and/or replaced by an identical npc that doesn’t have the hand-in assigned to it.
Try making a ticket in-game for a bug

cause while there is a quest with the same name from patch 1.1, the one i’ve linked here is new to 8.2 (according to wowhead).

ticket told me to try wowhead -- and that they’d never heard of this bug before… --
Ok… Well atleast they’ve heard about it now. Hopefully they will look at it.
