Like, does he think I actually check who the leader of a group is before I apply? If he declined me, the group would get marked as a group that I’ve been declined from and thus I wouldn’t apply to it again but this guy just continuously relisted the group instead of just declining me and thus marking it as a group I got declined from with addons and then he complains that I’m applying to it? How hard is it to just press decline instead of complaining that I’m applying to the groups I see listed that haven’t been marked as me being declined from?

Okay so the guy got irritated by you applying and you got irritated by him getting irritated. I’m not sure if this was worth a thread since it’s literally one whisper and this is pretty basic interaction. We’d have nothing but these whisper threads if everyone else did the same.

No matter if this is thread worthy or not, I kinda get his point.
I also often get confused about which groups I have applied to when people constantly relist.
I’m not 100% sure, but isn’t “marking the group on decline” an addon thing? Or does the default ui do this aswell?
If it’s just an addon thing maybe the addon could fix it by marking the relist of a group you applied to, as a decline.

I’m pretty sure the “Declined” notice goes away after you refresh the group listing, so it’s possible from his PoV you did keep applying and he only listed it once.
With that said the person in the whisper has a very short temper it would seem. They could just stop denying and just let people sit in the queue for his group, does no harm.

That’s a default UI thing.
If you click the refresh button is clears what you’ve been declined from. That’s a little bit silly, but honestly there usually aren’t that many groups so you can double-check, and so what if you accidentally apply to the same group twice, or even 3 times?
This whole thing is just so petty. It’s petty to complain about, it’s petty to complain about the complaint, it’s petty to complain about it being posted, it’s petty to be petty, and now I’m bored of writing petty goodnight.

Yes, it’s an addon. Groups I get declined from are marked in red, so I don’t apply to them again. But this guy kept relisting instead of declining me, lol.
Now i’m gonna irritate more ppl by posting a gif!

Let us make a random group in the lfg tool all of us and keep declining him constantly that should teach him a lesson haha the never ending cycle
