he did hear some choice words. But I think he learned from my careful chosen ‘almost profanities, but not quite’ and can max out his sanity runs as well. Oh well its just one failed run, but what surprised me how we almost made it without proper resets and luckily those were random alts as well. Doesnt even matter if they have cloaks begin with.
But we did learn that scenarios are shared, which is nice when you quest and play with friends, or multibox.
So Nothing new for non-mythic Players. Just wait a week till worldquests and heroic Dungeons are upscaled and repeat what you have done 2-3 Times already for the same items. Visions and all Systems connected to it, like the assaults seem to be Content for better geared and overall more skilled Players - after failing 3 times yesterday with 401 gear I gave up on them. No success, no reward, no reason to do the Content neccessary to get access.
Hell great were the times, when all Content I didn’t wanna do was reduced to premade raiding or Arena/rated BGs. WoW and I seem not to fit together anymore.
That said: It has the best Gameplay of all games! I love to Play my character, too bad Blizzard doesn’t add Content that I would like to Play…
So what do you want from single player content? You want visions to be without any risk of failing or what?
I agree with you on everything you said. I don’t know if Blizzard is trying to force me to do things I despise or the game and my tastes went in opposite directions.
Everything this patch adds revolves around visions, but either you are very good at the game or you are forced to team with other players. (Also, previously we were forced to do content we don’t like to get essences.)
No. I’m ok with visions existing as they are. I just wish there was something else for players like me to do. I’m not good enough for this content and the patch didn’t offer anything else to keep me entertained. Even Nazjatar was much better: new area to explore, tons of secrets, minigames, new mats to farm, a lot of new pets and pet battles… And I didn’t even count Mechagon which adds a new dungeon and even more on top.
8.3 feels bare-bones. Should I login to do 30 min of dailies and call it a day? The first day of the patch had some questing that kept me engaged, but today I was just left with: “wow, there is nothing to do”.
I’m not arguing about if it’s good or bad, but did people expect somehow magically different quests and dailies all the sudden? They’ve been brainless snoozefest for several expansions now.
What? I have done them on Druid (Balance and Guardian), Hunter, and Warrior (Fury). Easy as pie. I am 430-440 on all those characters. Considering the gear levels are 430+ it is a fair level of difficulty. An easy way to get to Thrall is to stealth, as a Druid it is cake.
i believe what people were expecting were sweeping changes to nerf basically every single class in the game, removal of azerite armor, RNG gear removed and just to top it off, an actual bump up on the ilvl for the world rewards.
also, not being swindled out of a week of M+ titan residuum even tho the system is not changed yet.
oh and maybe a workable economy wile were on the subject.
I mean, it is too difficult for me. I heard people did it with much lower ilvl than me, but I failed my vessels. First time Thrall killed me. Than I got stuck in combat bug after fighting the guards to Thrall and couldn’t use the orb. After that I just failed with mechanics.
I’m not a raider or m+ player. Working on getting vessels just to fail again and again isn’t fun or rewarding.
Did you just stand there and eat Thrall’s slams?
I wasn’t fast enough to dodge the slam. I tried to move, but his casts are too quick for me to react.
The slam takes a few seconds to land. There’s plenty of time to side step. Just stop casting.
I’m guardian druid, so I’m not casting anything. I watched videos on yt to see how others did it and asked on discord for advice, but I just couldn’t. I failed every time.
Do you watch his cast bar? Or just run through him to stand at his back as he casts.
He also does some animation as he casts. I think he raises his hand?
I’m trying to watch his casts. The problem is that I can’t concentrate on both attacking him, looking at my skills and my rage bar and looking at him. I managed to get him to 30% health, but he started using void area spell and slamming, which was too much for me.
Tank him on the edge of the room.
Wouldn’t outer ring of his void spell catch me?
No, he always jumps back to the middle to cast the void. Also are you sure you didn’t lose it due to insanity rather than your hp?
Yes, it was sanity loss that got me. I was full hp the whole fight. His skills just drained too much for me to kill him in time.
Did you do the research on the console next to mother before going in? I didn’t use the buff of the console. You need to avoid the hits by side stepping.
