Hello I’ve been watching a lot of streams lately and i’ve seen people with t3 appereances, people switching race every 2 mins and riding zg mounts etc. So i’m wondering where do i get that addon from?
p.s i know its against tos, but why should i care ?
I think its model edit, change in game files you download, rather than addon.
I think it’s against the rules because it has some potential of affecting the game, but I think specific things like appearance of character isnt cared as much about tbh
i know its against the tos, but since people like zulp from apes streams for months with altered appereances, it should be safe, since he didnt get banned
You just made this thread to cry about streamers.
Literally anything else would be a better time investment, except of course if your life is so sad that this is actually a worthwhile time investment for you.
if a streamer didn’t get ban for it? that doesn’t mean you will not be banned by editing game files.
But anyway the change is personal and only show in your screen & Not anyone else so if you will not record yourself then you can forever enjoy being with another race / style…etc
Using that certain thingy is completely against the TOS and can get your account banned, just because a streamer has not been banned YET does not mean they WONT.
I don’t watch streams so I’m not sure what they use, but there used to be a third party tool that just allows you to trick the client into “receiving” model changes from the server. I’m not sure if this worked by calling in-process functions or if it was a sort of man in the middle that actually injected network packets but it certainly wasn’t model editing the client files. Both of these methods would be easily detectable if they chose to do that.
Warden used to verify the integrity of at least some data/model files. This happened in reaction to hacks that altered those files. One example is the language file, you used to be able to replace it so that you could understand the other factions chat. I would suggest not editing any of the data files for that reason, even if it’s for ‘innocent’ changes.
If you want to keep your account you should care, it can get you banned for a long time. Blizzard store up accounts that have been cheating and altering game files and ban them all at once. I can see it now in 4-5 months, a post from Mílkme saying “why have I been banned for 6 months?!!”
