So… we did SFK yesterday…CLOTH belt from arugal drops…and i lost it to a hunter named Aldana guild REPRESENT…I am priest healer and i was like… well…its just a low lvl item but then i thought…will this sh… keep up till 60? i remember 14 years ago that everything was hunter weapon blablabla ( i lost ashkandi with my dwarf warrior to a HUNTER for dkp…so haha…) but… dont u think there should be some prios? i cant roll on his leather equipment…but he can get the only loot im able to get… your thoughts? is it able to be reported?

Healers who don’t use cloth as their only source of armor, like shamans and druids, are ok to roll on it imo. Hunters, absolutely not. Had a rogue who wanted to roll on feline mantle today. Luckily we all bltch slapped him to his senses.

So basically clothies only have the option to get cloth armor, but mail “should” have the option to roll for cloth and leather and mail.

No, each one should roll strictly for their specific armor type they use. I don’t see any hunters running around in priest robes.

That only applies to lvl 60 healers with BIS gear that play PVE.
Is it an upgrade? Yes - you roll on it.

Belt of Arugal have
+10 Intellect
+3 Spirit
+2 Agility
These stats are great for a hunter while armor is close to useless so it really doesn’t matter if it’s cloth or leather.
Personally I wouldn’t take this loot from a healer or caster if I was the hunter but it’s nothing wrong to do that if it’s an upgrade.

Hm. In this case I think the hunter should’ve passed on it FOR A PRIEST. The priest will have so much more use of the item than the hunter, who has a very easy time leveling.

It’s the decisions you have to make.
Do you want to be remembered as the quiet, sweet hunter who remembered to dismiss his pet during a jump or do you want to be remembered as the hunter who took an item that gave him an extra arcane shot when hes out in the world levelling?
It is nothing wrong if you don’t have a caster in a group.
Dude this item is like Grade A for casters and Grade C for hunters. There’s SPECIFIC loot that drops for hunters (pre-mail) / rogues and that’s not it.

No, you can’t report it, Blizz don’t want to know about loot issues. We can roll on top loot to de it if we’re so inclined.
Put him on ignore and don’t group with him again if he didn’t trade it when his mistake was pointed out. 
The most important rule for any hunter is this: if you can roll need, immediately press dat need button.
From plate helmets to a wheel of cheese, all are ours by right.
I dont think it matters with lowbie gear. Class X or Class Y - you are both replacing in about 3 hours, i.e. tommorow or the day after. Its an issue if someone needs on everything just to get more gold. Its an issue at 60 when you have run the same dungeon 10 times.
