iirc new owners so new site layout was in the works for some time
Not only wowpedia, all the fandom wikia’s are like this even my beloved (not anymore) wookieepedia.
WHY DO THEY ALWAYS CHANGE A GOOD THING?
Why did they move the search bar? Why did they make it into a button you first have to press before you can type in what you want to search? This thing is freaking ridiculous and I am ANGERY.
As well as autoplaying lore videos I explicitly paused or X’d out of yet some profane script starts up a new one regardless once the 4,5 minute clip would have ended, jolting my half read page back to the top.
Trash.
According to one of the Maldraxxi Constructs (that scholar one), around half of the great warriors that end up in the Shadowlands end up with the Kyrian.
The Kyrian and the Venthyr dislike the Maldraxxi and rather they not get involved if their territories are invaded because the Maldraxxi tend to do more harm then good.
Yeah, there’s that book you can find with the Professor that has a venthyr author, listing crimes committed by the Maldraxxi during an invasion of Revendreth.
Brokers have “coins of favour” in their cartels. They are signs of recognition that a favour of a favour has been completed. To be granted one means that the associated cartel to the coin now owes you a favour, which is paid for with said coin.
You can set the theme to Hydra or Hydra Dark in your account preferences to get the old look back. But yeah, that’s Fandom for you. They assimilate wikis and switch them to their stupid, ill-designed, advertisement-laden themes.
Whispers
Hail Hydra…
Despite their jungle troll models, the troll high priests in Zul’Gurub such as Thekal, Venoxis and Jeklik are actually Zandalari trolls from Zuldazar.
Troll Compendium/Other Trolls - Wowpedia - Your wiki guide to the World of Warcraft (fandom.com)
“Word of Hakkar’s presence reached the Zandalar tribe in the South Seas, who were even more horrified to discover the enslavement of their kindred, the Zandalari high priests.”
Do we have the entire page?
Nabbed it off Twitter so no, not as of yet!
Darn, hate reading only parts of a page.
Every time new lore comes out regarding the Shadowlands it’s equally funny and sad to read the corresponding wowpedia article fill up with “it is unclear how this happens” addendums.
The cosmology map of Chronicles can be found inside canon tomes regarding study of the forces of the universe. Brokers find this concept laughable due to its favouritism towards the Titans, and have their own version. Apologies for the vulgar language, I did not make the tweet and is part of what the link shows. And I can’t post pictures.

Emperor Tsao was a mogu emperor who is remembered fondly by the pandaren. He has a short and unremarkable reign, but by his edict, the pandaren slaves could learn to read, write and start up their own schools. A statue of his likeness remains where most others were torn down, and he’s remembered as a saviour for granting the pandaren the basic education other emperors forbade.
The Legacy of Emperor Tsao - Wowpedia - Your wiki guide to the World of Warcraft (fandom.com)
You know the mogu standards for kindness are low when letting your slaves read and write makes your kindness legendary.
Considering that reading, writing and education are some of the basic foundations of a civilisation, Tsao had a far greater impact than many would think. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lorewalkers today would not exist without him if they didn’t know how to read or write for themselves, let alone translate ancient texts.
Ehhhh. By the time Tsao ruled, the empire had already existed for almost three thousand years (during which all such ancient texts had been systematically eradicated), and the revolution was not many years off.
Three thousand years is a very long time. I see no reason at all to attribute the Lorewalkers to him. Any knowledge that had survived almost three thousand years of Lei Shen’s rule, and the various other tyrants that reigned in the two centuries between Lei Shen’s death and the revolution, would probably have survived no matter what Tsao did.
