LOTRO just did a great move be creating two fresh servers, one with increased and one with reduced XP rate

I’d say WoW Classic should do the same. So the hardcore endgamers would go for the high-rate one, and the casual slow-paced players would go for the low-rate one.

The LOTRO’s 0.4x XP rate surely wouldn’t fit Classic WoW servers, but there should be two options of something between 0.8x-1x and 2x-3x. That would surely benefit both hardcore and casual communities.

They had a survey just in the start of june, asked thousands of questions what we want. I think they will mix around a bit soon

except that they asked only about increased XP rate. And a lot of casual players don’t have that much time to play, and end up with constant x2 rate from kills because of the ever-chasing blue bar.

Another good option would be to reduce the accumulation rate of the blue bar on the casual servers. Or… disable it for good.

Lotro did a good move ? I find it hard to believe. I logged in recently and rolled a new char after what about 7 years. I got to lvl 15 then started remembering the grind ahead of me and the futility of it, felt physically sick and logged out again never to return.

You mean Lord of the rings?

Leveling is easy enough as it is. Very. casual friendly with rested bonus.

Wow what a sh*t fest, was gone for a half day
This guy knew he already lost and instead of giving up. He try to provoke and “troll” in a “clever” way, he is a child. Let him keep going, he is one of the premoters (or same person?) to some fakeserver. Let him scream and be heard with his morse code grammar, so people can see what nice community they have over there!

LOTRO is still selling expansion packs from 10 years ago in thier in game cash shop for the equivalents of £40. Also thier quest packs are ridiculously overpriced.

damn lotro fresh server?? it almost as classic is to me. It the mmo I played the second most. Where can I read more about those servers?
