Greetings to a Blood Elf rogue in Earthshaker, who likes to kill low level characters. When he or she killed mine, I had vengeance with my main to him and after dying once he just ran and ran away from me. The progress looked like this:
Sap me
Stunlock me
Fail to kill me
Almost get killed
Run away
Rinse and repeat
I really hope low level griefing is bannable. This guy killed every low level character in Searing Gorge. And if he/she had to face someone with same gear as him, he ran away.
I have, Iâm leveling a horde on Firemaw. Iâve seen more PvP than you ever will. And you know what, Iâm going to go gank lowbies to generate more crybabies like you who donât belong on PvP realms
They should never add cloak of shadows to the game. It is stupid how can one class always get away from most classes and reset combat. There should be atleast chance it fails remove that magic effects like it is with dispels.
Yeah, I had a level 80 rogue complain to me with a level 1 orc char, because I was camping him with my 80 after he was camping level 58 chars in front of blood furnace for an hour straight.
I definitely am not regretting it.
Thing is that some people are ganking lowbies and are getting away with it with no consequences thanks to their class advantages.
Personally I would never gank lowbies, Iâm getting sick even thinking about it. But people are different.
I wouldnât either, but some players have a âif itâs red itâs deadâ mindset. If they see someone of the enemy faction theyâre obliged to kill it on general principal.
Most gank once and then move on, but thereâs some real asphats out there who like to corpse camp and effectively âgriefâ other players. But Blizzard do not regard it as griefing and their view is basically: âOn a PvP server anything goes - and PvP solutions exist for PvP problemsâ, thatâs how itâs always been.
If you went onto a PvP megaserver and honestly expected things to be different, or for enemy players to adhere to some kind of honour code then youâre going to be in for a rough ride.
When leveling on a heavily opposing faction server, you get ganked in every single way.
So they wanna return the favor, hence the ganking. They dont get to gank the players who ganked them while leveling, but it becomes more of a âhorde ganked me, now i gank hordeâ.
In OG wotlk, i had an immense hate for dwarf paladins (for some reason i only hated dwarfs, and not all paladins:P). Seems like they always bubbled heart when they lost a battle. After that i always ganked dwarf paladins, no matter what:P
People justify their actions differently, maybe you played a class/race/gender he hates. Or even the name is enough to trigger. Or maybe he just suck in pvp, so he can only kill lowbies. The reasons are many.
But thats the beauty of pvp servers, sometimes you like it and sometimes you dont.
I still wanna be corpsecamped occasionally, than play on some pve server:P
After the original TBC came out a topic on the forums appeared âGank the alt, meet the mainâ. Just before that appeared i had my own episode of alt ganking.
A shadowpriest and a mage (they were like my alt early 30 lvl) felt it would be cool to kill my new pala every single time they saw him (was on a pvp realm back then). All this happened on the opposite side of the river near Nesingwaryâs camp.
So i went on my warrior main and found them, they tried to run, killed them. They came back, tried to run from me again and ended up dead in the river towards Westfall. I chased them towards Westfall while repeatedly killing them. They /beg /cry /please etc me but i went on until they were at that tower in Westfall with the undeads.
I had a very pleasant afternoon of leveling in STV with that new alt after that event
Just donât take poop from little frustrated keyboard warriors, just keep on killing them until theyâre fed up and then kill them some more.
