I am lvl25 and barely have 5 gold. Collecting 900gold for epic mount might be hard.
I want to buy it right away after I level to 60.
Around 200g would be a reasonable price.

Getting enough gold for an epic mount should be an achievement
900g is less gold than you imagine, since the higher your level the more gold you make, so comparing how much gold you made from 1 - 25 is not a good metric

The 100% Mounts are a privilege that has to be earned, people are not supposed to have it right away at 60.

There should not be ANY privilege in a game. We live in a modern society, and EVERYBODY should have a fast mount. Not just complete degens. Otherwise I will consider certain websites

careful now, 900g is obtainable at lvl 60 quite easily if you do any sort of high level farming you’ll get that gold
you really need to think of it as an achievement, one of the few in Classic
Classic is all about working torwards small victories and the journey, you really can’t compare it to the fast pace that is retail

Classic is there for people that want to enjoy the game as it was. That includes mounts not being a dime a dozen.
If you want mounts for just existing in teh game world, then retail is the version of the game you should be playing.
That said, if you actually level to 60 and don´t spend every copper you earn on the AH, then the “grind” for the missing 200-300 gold is nothing… I recommend the undead mobs around Kel’Duril (Winterspring)… the base gold is ok, but more importantly they drop the formuly for unholy weapon, whihc generally sells quite well on teh AH. Or grind out Azure Whelplings in Azshara and buy 4 mounts when one finally drops 
You are not entitled to having an epic mount. Ordinary mount is good enough and accessible for everyone. Epic mount is an achievement which needs a work to be done.

How can you be against this in a modern society?
Nowadays everybody has a house and a Lambo by the time they are 30, as well as 3-4 kids because we swim in abundance.
Not having an epic mount is what the generation before us, who didn’t own anything, had no kids etc had to endure.

Just do some dungeons from 55 and higher to 60 and all the quests left in the end game zones will give enough gold.
Not gona happen. You can get exalted in AV and get that mount cheaper thqn 900g
