I main a shadow priest and they’re pretty easy to be good at. Both in classic and tbc. You just spam dots, keep VE up and try not to get interrupted with an occasional heal here and there.
In Classic they’re one of the best 1v1 classes, in TBC they’re still decent but not even close to how good warlocks are though.
Rogue is my most recent class and I think it is the hardest, though it could also be that I am old now compared to 15 years ago and learn slow.
I wouldnt say druid is all that hard to play, and it gets even easier in TBC.
Played warlock for most of the time and its easy but has a high skill ceiling in the multi target situation.
Warrior was easier than warlock but still a lot of fun. Gonna be rough vs mages though.
Then I had a shaman and it kinda relies on your opponent falling for fake casts. On its own not a very high skill ceiling.
So in my exp.
Warrior > Shaman > Warlock > Druid > Rogue
Thanks for all your responses I appreciate it!
So far from looking it seems Warrior is the easiest to get the hang of?
the skill floor of warrior is basically “do damage”, in that regard it’s very easy, at least the least punishing. playing a class semi properly mage is probably easier. beyond that it’s mostly non class specific stuff that is gonna be impactful
thanks for the reply
