LUA error in character screen

Hey!

I’ve found a similar post in the US forum (without solution) here: Error since purchase - Support / Bug Report - World of Warcraft Forums (blizzard.com)

I have the exact same issue ever since i purchased the “Stargazer’s Pack” from the store. In the character selection screen I randomly recieve this error (not always for some reason):

What is causing this error?

MISSING_CRYPT_KEY to me suggests that you may have deleted or altered blizzards self-sighed SSL certificate. BUT, I am not an LUA expert, so I don’t know.

same issue, bought celestial observer’s ensemble, gone from my mog tab again… i refunded this garbage i am really sick of their technical difficulties now

Habe nichts gekauft oder igendwas derart… Habe die selben Probleme …
Der ladescreen läuft durch und bricht dann wenn er fertig ist ab und man fängt von vorne an… Komme dadurch nicht mehr online hat wer ne lösung?

It’s cause by the Shop, specially if you have transmogged on that character that you bought from the shop. It happened to me on a character that had jewel of the firelord and now I cannot even find it in collection. Hopefully they will fix it soon. It’s idiotic that it happened while I was in a key run and it DC-ed me and couldn’t connect in time.

The only things I’ve ever bought are some Shop pets, and I can’t remember when that was - at least a year ago.

Was all clear earlier this evening.

I’ve just logged in and the issue appeared out of nowhere. even my tsm isn’t working properly(the scanning stops after 3-4 items)

I also having the same problem this morning (on Select Character Screen). I’ve reset the user interface as suggested and still same error

Questa mattina alle ore 00:40 circa il server ci ha buttati fuori facendoci crashare in Mythic Plus e per ben 5 minuti non si riusciva a rientrare, al rientro è apparsa la schermata di Error Lua con le stesse identiche informazioni, sarà un problema del Server

Suddenly received this error visible on my character login screen at the same time as I began experiencing issues with the default equipment manager unable to create “New” equipment sets.
The error remains even after following Blizzard’s official guide to perform a complete reset of the UI and my attempts at performing a /console cvar_default was met with the alert that I didn’t have the permissions to do so…

As of this morning, I get the following as well. Since it happens outside of the actual game and at the login screen, me disabling addons might not do much

Funny how it prompts to reload UI though.
