So according to Blizz shop, the Lunar mount is no longer included in the 6 month sub package and requires the 12 month one instead. I only bought the 6 month sub because it always used to include the new mount. Am not impressed

It’s never had a discount compared to 6 months
No loss to me, those never fit into the game anyway and always remained unused by me. I just have my 6-month sub because it’s the cheapest version; as long as that stays the case, my sub remains the same.

You are you sure it is removed ? It is the 6 month sub mount so should be. As I understand it the 12 month sub only gives you the 3 older ones in addition if you don’t already have them but the lunar mount will be with both the 6 month and the 12 month.
Mixed messaging here. While the overview shows it as a 12-month bonus, the fine print says " *The upcoming Lunar New Year 6-Month Subscription special offer will be revealed on or before January 31, 2025."
Hopefully it’s just an oversight.
If this is the case, my 6 month subbing is over.
I’ll go to monthly subbing so I can take breaks whenever I feel like it.
I hope this greedy change bites them in the butt - IF true.
While that’s true for me as well, it’s about the principle of the matter to me.
Removing a perk just to get people to get the even more expensive option is scummy business practice on the level of a free-to-play mobile game. And I refuse to comply.

I think it is just a case that the picture has not been changed and it still shows that you get the last 6 month mount (which you won’t) instead of the new one.

This suggests to me that the lunar mount is still part of the 6 month offer. While the comparison chart does not include a tick for the 6 month sub the line also includes a (*) which points to the following note which also refers to it being the 6 month offer.
Most likely the missing tick is an error.
“Sir, people are unsubbing due to gameplay issues!”

Iirc it used to be 1 euro per month less for 12 month sub then what 6 month sub was offering .in my mind i used to buy it for that reason .i bought 1 year subs during burning crusade and wotlk era
