service token not working on normal characters either

Level 80 enchanced boost on a fresh The War Within character
Hi, I followed the link from the thread about character boosts. I still have the same issue even though the alert about tokenised services is gone. I tried to boost a (regular, non-Remix) character on WOW retail, it leads me through the character selection and confirmation, and then nothing happens, just as someone described above in the thread. There is no error, and the token shows in the menu as unused, too. Logging in and out with the character or restarting the game doesn’t work either. Is there still an issue, or maybe a workaround?

What error are you getting? It’s possible that your character is locked if you used another service on them recently, or if the payment for the boost hasn’t been completed yet:

Hi, thanks for getting back to us!
In my case, there is no error at all. Just nothing happens when I confirm the boost. I got the boost with the Midnight preorder, which I ordered on 2 October, so that should be long ago enough,and the payment was deducted already, too.
I haven’t done any transfers or changes or anything; I made the character fresh the other day. I did try to apply the boost twice because there was no confirmation or error or anything, and the first time I thought maybe I’d misclicked and hit “cancel” maybe, but it was the same thing the second time.

Im having the same issues as stated above. I got the boost after purchasing Midnight.

As stated, same thing on my side. Cannot use the midnight enhanced level 80 boost that i bought few weeks ago. Tried applying on freshly made character, but the client doesnt do anything after i use the boost and the boost is not consumed.

Thanks all! We’ve forwarded this information to the relevant teams for investigation.
As a quick summary:
- We’ve seen reports of character Boosts not working since this morning and are investigating (we’ve also seen reports for transfers, and name changes).
- All in-game character services were re-enabled on Friday (Oct 10). It is working as intended that you cannot use any in-game character service on a WoW Remix character (trying to do so should result in an error saying that “the character is locked”).
- WoW Remix characters cannot be converted into normal characters, this option has been disabled temporarily.
If your issue is different, please search for an existing topic, or create a new one.

I just tried using my Level 80 Boost from the Epic Midnight purchase on this character and nothing happens. I have deleted cache, WTF and interface folders, I have tried reinstalling the game. I thought this was fixed on Friday 10th October ?
I was hoping to get the Delve healer achievements before the next patch (Due to be released in December). Any chance boosted level 80 characters can at least get Veteran 1/8 gear (668) instead of 645 ?

Hello Blizzard Support Team,
I recently purchased the Midnight expansion and tried to use the Enhanced Level 80 Character Boost on a freshly created Night Elf Druid on my account.
However, when I select the character and confirm the boost by clicking “OK” nothing happens — the boost doesn’t activate, and my character remains unchanged. There’s no error message or confirmation window either.
I’ve already tried the following steps:
- Restarting the Battle.net client
- Relogging and refreshing the character list
- Checking for pending boosts under character creation
- Logging in and out of different realms
Despite this, the boost still won’t apply to the character.
Could you please check what went wrong ?

Hello!
11th of October used my lvlup token but didn’t get max renown with TWW factions.
Used it on my 34 (approximately) lvl druid, may be this is the case?
But as i know there is no info that you don’t get max renown if token is used not on freshly created character.
Posted about this problem 2 times here but still got no response.
Reported about this bug 2 times through in-game form and still quiet.
Blizzard please help!

It worked today. After the launcher update. In the mail box is a survivalist satchel (or something similarly named) click on that for a few food and drink and the currencies.
