M+ combinations in High keys killed the game

So basically high keys goes like this;
Tank - Prot Pala
DPS- Aug, Balance, Frost DK, Enh Shaman or Asas Rogue
Healer - Disc Priest

If you are not one of the above, you cannot get an invite for +15 keys.
We can forget about class balance, it is a dream that we will never receive.
Thanks Blizz!!!

Is the game dead or is the PuG scene dead?

I suspect plenty of M+ runs (even many 15+) are still being done. Just that they are primarily done by Communities and Guilds.
The level of co-ordination required probably requires a stable group to learn how each other plays.

I’d like to see some stats on it though.

ok now give the average player a reason to care beyond +10 cause imo if you’re doing +15 you’re probably at a level where you are so competative that rerolling shouldn’t be an issue if it means you can get ahead

All +14 has been achieved by 4k unique character. All +15 by less than 1.5k unique characters.

Care to explain what kind of balance you expect in a key range populated by 0.3/0.1 % of the population playing M+?

That’s the power of the meta I’m afraid, I don’t know if it’s intended or if players are just that mathematically skilled.
Same thing happened in Overwatch, they released a character named Birgitte who basically changed the entire meta and they had to redesign a bunch of stuff because of it.
There will always be G.O.A.T combos.

So the game is dead because the 1% of players who are doing 15s don’t want to invite ret paladins
 More news at 10.

Basically this, I see a lot of people complaining about 12+ and how its unbalanced when in reality most of playerbase cap at 10 because theres zero point going higher except for ego points.

Which is not even true given best rets are pushing +17 currently.
Ret is the 4th Mdps spec out of 13.

And is 5th of all dps basically. Given it share more or less the same % of representation with Balance, Elemental and Frost in 15 keys, aka around 5%.

But besides numbers, i seriously struggle to understand what kind of balance people expect in such a restricted and competitive environment.

Oh I know, I main ret this season. It’s just funny that content that only a few handful of players do “killed the game”.

having timed mitigate content killed the game.

This is just the curse of being in the top 0.2% of all the characters? There’s no balance that can save ya.

Paladin nerfed, dps will now be frost mage and ele shaman as meta ones.

Legion and bfa were like : dps => dh only.

So thats an improvement sofar.

There is no way Blizzard can balance for this kind of content.
It is the very top extremely competitive M+ and however they try to balance, there will allways be those classes that perform like 0.01% better and will become meta.

We have seen it before. They do a class re-balance and suddenly the meta is changed.
Theese small margins we are talking about are ofcause not very relevand but for pugs whom obviosly follow it like meta-slaves.

basically if you wanna push you take enhance shammy, aug voker. 3rd dps is w/e. Ideally then disc & prot pala yah, waiting for real nerfs :dracthyr_comfy_blue:

Does not need nerfs as it only effects like 1% max of the playerbase.

Pug is another subject of key squish. People are trying keys that they are not ready for it due to key squish.

That is actually harder than you think due to key squish, when you try to up your key people that are not actually ready for that key joins (bcs their rio looks ok) and they deplete it. This happened a lot.

That %1 player creates the content of this game on social media

That is where you can actually do. In low keys mobs dies really fast, impossible to understand real dps. But in high keys dps is more stable since mobs survives longer so you can understand what a class can actually do. BTW i am talking about small adjustments like %3-4, not like complete overhaul like blizz currently doing like they did to enh shaman
