Would not work one person might click faster than another.

Or one person might click at the perfect times.

Thats just 1 player better than the other. The classes are still balanced

I meanā€¦ the community is playing the game handed to them and the fact of the matter is that the meta specs make runs much easier.
This is ultimately Blizzards failure in class and spec design and balancing.
We are seeing changes much more than before, but the fact that the xpac launched during christmas meant that changes werenā€™t made fast enough to prevent a dominant meta from forming.

I do completely understand you as i mostly gave up on my mistweaver cause i wouldnā€™t get invited to 16ā€™s on pugs when i am completely able to heal 20ā€™s. I do have orange rating too. So, itā€™s not like i was coming out of nowhere.
The thing is. If you can get an evoker or druid with more healing, damage and a needed utility, why take anything else? The only ones with a chance to get there are holy paladins and resto shamans.
The rest is condemned to the back of the line unless they are outright OP numbers wise.

The thing is all healers should have lust/hero and CR, but then we get the very casual crying ā€œhomogenizationā€.
This is something i learned back in Legion when they ended up removing templates. The community doesnā€™t want balance. They want to be overpowered and play the overpowered specs to feel better than they are. Itā€™s the same logic from twinks in pvp from back in the day or from the world first race in FF. Players want to cheat and faceroll. That is the truth of the matter and the impossible conundrum for the devs to solve.

If you ever come across a 20 key yourself, not 21 or 22 or 19- exactly 20, list it and in about 2-3 minutes you will understand why are you not getting invites.

I did list my 20 and barely any tank or heal queued, the few that did were 2300-2400 at best without a single 19 timed.

Sure man. When i list my 20 i cannot even scroll fast enough trough the aplication as they sign upā€¦and theres literaly zero difference between me and you at first glance. I gues we are playing different game or one of us is making :poop: up. :person_shrugging: Well never know.

What do I have to gain from lying? Nothing.

I play at degen hours so maybe thatā€™s why.

Oh, I feel your pain so much. My position is following:

  • 383 ilvl. Technically enough to do everything up to 15+, but ofc not a 410+ with bis in every slot.
  • ~950 rating
  • BM hunter. Canā€™t think more non-meta class/spec for now.
  • DPS. No more explanation is needed how harder itā€™s to find a group for dps compared to heals and tanks.
  • Cyrillic name. Red flag to a lot of people, who biased to russians and stupid enough to think only russians use cyrillic and play on russian servers

Iā€™m doing orange damage most of the time. I work my a_s_s off with kicks, avoiding any damage, have every possible pet utility, always using consumables. Iā€™m not a perfect player, and Iā€™m not aiming high, I just want 2000 points for KSM and mount, thatā€™s it. Not sure, but I believe every +15 finished (both on Tyrannical and Fortified) dungeon should be enough for that.
And itā€™s close to impossible to find a group for that. NEVER invited in a group larger than +6. When I try to use my key +7 I sit 2 hours with only damagers joining, no tanks or healers.
I still have hope. No more valor cap next week ā†’ infinite farm of low level keys to have larger ilvl number. And hunters damage increased by 5% with todayā€™s reset. Possibly I will transfer to EU server to have latin nickname. Iā€™m already consider buying KSM, if I wonā€™t manage to get it fair way until end of a season.

Tbh, I think youā€™re simply at a point, where you need to settle with a guild to progress, or just any m+ group in general, that you stick to

Idk, I invited 2 of those today, and nothing went wrong, but they were kinda passive aggressive for some reason.

Thatā€™s the issue right there. Nobody knows that you are doing that. All they see is your gs and rating and since there are tons of applicants in the list, they can wait a bit and choose someone else.
As Carnivorus already said, a guild group or add decent players to your friendslist to do M+ with. I am healing right now, so i dont know the real extend of how bad it is as a dps but i can imagine.

Exactly. And itā€™s kinda of deadlock situation: you need rank to join a group, but you need to join a group to get a rank XD

if you have 383 then you should be doing like +5 not +15. this is not week 1 of season - nobody will carry you for free.

If the population that pushes these keys are smaller wouldnt you also be more limited in option throught out the day? Also assuming your rio is very high compared to the average it makes sense that the higher you go the more meta slaves there is, at somepoint is justified, you assumption of meta slaving being a joke is usually when people apply this idea to an average key.

Iā€™ve just sat over thirty minutes in group to find people to fill a 19, on reset day so Iā€™m gonna assume youā€™re the one whoā€™s making things up.

ā€¦

19 is dead key.

Which highlights the ongoing issue with the way RNGesus picks your next dungeon to do with a keystone.

It might had been better if the keystone was just for the level or it could be used on any dungeon other than the one you got it from

am finding it quite difficult to get into pug 16ā€™s at ~2.1k/402 ilvl

I may be mistaken, in which case please correct me, butā€¦

Youā€™re basically trying to push keys to improve you rio.
To do so, you would prefer to pug with other players who have at least your rio.

You complain that itā€™s hard to get to 3k rio, because of meta slaves and fotm rerollers. Can I also add ā€œalso because thereā€™s not a lot of people around your rioā€ ?

Sounds like ouroboros situation to me here.
Beside dungeon difficulty, part of the reason why itā€™s hard to improve RIO is players estimation of probability to succeed or fail if they invite another player.
Most of us, me included, you included, have the idea that higher RIO means higher probability of success. So we want the highest RIO possible.

Pretty sure you would not invite someone around 2k in a M+20, for example. Because your rio is much higher than that. But has your comprehension of the game really improved that much since you were 2k ?
Why do you think someone with a much lower RIO would lead to failure then ?
