M+ no longer has a timer

So picture this scenario and really think about it. Would you enjoy M+ more if: The dungeons were much harder per level key, but there was no longer a timer attached to it. Item reward would be about the same.

Would you enjoy it?

No. I am not interested in waiting literally every pull for all available cooldowns. Also destroys the route-planning and cooldown-coordination.

This wouldn’t be good for M+ at all. The whole point of M+ is getting difficult content done as quickly as possible. This is coming from someone who doesn’t enjoy the timer (I feel stressed out because of it), but, majority of people who do M+ do it because of the timer. It gives them more of an accomplishment when they finally beat that +10-+15 key in time after going through it multiple times and not timing it.

Whilst I don’t think everything needs a timer, the point of mythic plus is to be up against the clock. We’d certainly see a lot more people completing higher difficulties if there was no timer, you could just keep bashing your head against it until you succeeded.

people who still play wow now will say no …

but a lot of people who quit would of loved this idea… and we outnumber the remaining players by a large amount :)…

cant hear our opinion though as they block us from the platforms to voice them.

No, sadly, the people that would have loved this idea are the people who want the game to be easy and have no difficulties. Making a boss harder isn’t going to make it more entertaining, otherwise more people would be raiding Heroic/Mythic raids. But, more people are doing M+ instead.

It is totally fine to give your oppinion  I would never understand why anyone would like it to stay 8+ minutes waiting before every pull, but you are obvisouly allowed to have that preference.

This, I love when we miss the timer because then we go back to the drawing board to see what pulls we could’ve done differently and/or chained together etc.

Not everyone will agree, but I do think it makes you a better player.

time constraints is why most people dont raid… if there was no time constraints you’d see that number change. even if bosses were harder…

But, I’d also like to point out that I’m not against the idea of Blizzard making a completely different style of dungeons like this either.

Have it where you can decide on being timed or not, and those who want it to be timed get better stuff if it’s timed (How many times do I have to say timed xD).

I wish there were more end-game path’s for people, I really do. At the moment, it’s PvP, M+ or raids. Torghast SHOULD have been another end-game path for solo players, but, it wasn’t brought out properly and people didn’t enjoy it.

just because there is no timer doesnt mean there would be 8+ mins for each pull… depends who you run with there is no reason why you still cant steam roll even without a timer.

Oh, yeah, I get this. I have family that play, but can’t raid with me because they don’t have the time. They do PvP instead, since it’s not required to have 2-3 hours for 2-3 days a week be set aside, you can do it whenever you want.

that would be the idea option … mythic+ offshoot… for people who want no timers and a dungeon finder queue…

see which one becomes more popular

yeah raiding is only for the select few now really… it is unrealistic for most people to dedicate 2 - 3 days a week 6 - 8 hours… to a game.

M+ similar to Torghast 2.0 could be viable, points for speed, clearing, no wipes etc. I’m probably going to be made a pariah for suggesting it though.

As long as we can keep the timer version and the non-timer version drops like 20 ilvl lower gear I’m fine with it. See no reason to implement it, but if a lot of people want it, why not?

Actually it would be a decent place to actually teach some of the tactics.

I see where you are coming from but I also think that this isn’t really completely true. You have to understand that right now M+ is really popular. But a part of why M15s are so popular is because of raiders. There are way more people signing up for M15s than M18s for instance. I tried both during peak time and offset by 5 hours. The difference is really big. That being said, of course perhaps a lot of M+ players (that aren’t raiding) don’t care about anything above 15, but in that case what is the point of doing M+ since you can’t get the highest ilvl in the game anyways?

if they made torghast more pleasing to do … maybe

Please don’t abuse me, but I don’t mind Torghast.

heh you are welcome to enjoy it , it was alright for me as well for a while.
