I mean there are some clowns here that think you can somehow spot bad apples just from researching a bit about them, but reality is, you don’t know who you are inviting.

And lets not take random events into account. I got flamed cause i dced and ruined the key, like it was something i could control.

Low key do not need “perfect”, and a lot of people wanna go for filling up the vault or end of dung loot.

Also whats the point of perfect? Over time already give score that is more than enough for KSM, gear even if lower ilvl can be upgraded, valor are still given to you.

It’s not only about Low Keys though.
The system works how it works on all key levels.

Timing a key you are trying to push or maybe even 2/3 chest it. Let’s say for a random number a +25.

The system is even more pointless in high keys given that people resets regardless of the -1 if they feel like key is not going to be timed.

Yes but whats the problem in trying and improving at a dungeon until you succeed? Your only point in high keys is trying to time them anyway.

That’s why the suggestion was that the key remains undiminished only if the dungeon is completed (although not within time). My suggestion was to have a cooldown on the key so that once started it could not be reset for either 2 hours or the dungeon was completed.
There are ways to prevent the resetting issue.

I don’t see why folk would be more toxic with key-0 than with key-1. If anything if the run was close then I can see a group being willing to try again. If it wasn’t remotely close then I can see a group disbanding (and probably for the best). But would a whole group will willing to try again with a key-1 and then do the key-1+1 after?

Ye but its also giving you untimed score which nobody wants to have on their raider io. So no point staying in failed group

Make the cooldown = Dungeon complete timer.
This way it is not to punishing to try and push keys, as you gotta wait half an hr. But still annoying enough to want to complete it.

Score is score, “untimed” score gives point exactly like normal score.

I got KSM week 2 and stopped until the other day cause friends needed a healer for a key, do you think i care if there is some “untimed score”? Why should i?

That would work, I just picked an aritary length of time that wasn’t nothing but wasn’t a whole day either. As you say long enough to be annoying but not long enough to ruin a whole play session.
The point of the cooldown suggestion was to protect the key holder when a group falls apart and they are left there alone so can’t complete the run solo. They have to wait a wee while to try again but at least they haven’t lost their key.

Will happen all the time while pushing keys. Especially with designed dungeons like necrotic wake where you get walled when you wipe. Bosses get unkillable. So then run out and do the key 1 level lower.

Depleting a key starting from +2 should reduce your mythic+ score, and also directly reduce your bank account’s credit score, and also deplete your IRL driving license (even if you don’t have one) and conjure many legos pieces all over the floor of your house in your sleep for you to step on when you wake up, and it should also curse you for bad luck (until the next reset) and all you can loot is purple worthless items that will immediately expand and fill your bags as you get them, of course with no vendor price so you have to manually remove them. I think that will promote a fair, balanced, fun, family-friendly gaming experience for all!

Eh? We tried to do a friends key the other day, a +22 junkyard. Some DPS went ballistic at the tank not pulling enough and decided to pull more. We were fighting zul’gamux and he pulled one of those huge robots with an aoe, the robot got bolstered as mobs died. Well, that AOE happened as blood siphon happened, it was impossible to heal and we wiped hard and then the guy left. This was just a few minutes into the key. Why should we be locked out from trying it again on a lower level instantly?
