“casual players have no need to be 200+”
indeed - they can always leave game - just like they left in SL
this is the toxicity im always pointing out .
who are you to decide what other people need.

Build up your RIO slowly. First do most dungeons on 3+ then get a feel of 4+ and get yourself to 300 Rio. Then you will get more accepted into 5+ and 6+. At around 400 you can dabble into 7+ and get yourself to 800-900 when people will be more comfortable to invite for 10+. Rio in a way reflects that you have a good experience in affix m+. It is not that bad and can be helpful to you. And remember, the 2 ranged and 1 melee meta is popular. You will get rejects. But look for players with lower Rio for starters and also players writing chill run. Ignore people that write don’t be an idiot, high dps or kick, big dps etc. Apply to relaxed people. And often they will choose you.
rio simply shows how many M+ you timed and at what key level.
if you have a key, you should create your own group instead of joining other people’s.
you can then choose who to invite by any metric you want, keep in mind that to upgrade the key, you need to finish your dungeon in time.
Said this, i’d suggest to run dungeons with your guildies instead of pugging, they’ll probably be more inclined to help and explain the affixes.
