He please can you add option for m1 macs (like check box “i have notch macbook”) for move score in BGs little down because now i have it behind a notch and i dont see score in BG…
Ok but can you ask the question in understandable English please?
The black thingy in the top-center of the screen is a “notch”. Part of the screen is physically cut out to make room for camera and stuff, which creates a dead-zone on the screen. Guess where BG points are displayed…
I think you should be able to select a different resolution or something that will not use the entire top row of the screen, or there is an option in the MacBook settings somewhere related to this.
You can’t expect game companies to make special options in every game every time a manufacturer decides to divert from established industry standards.
You not understanding OP is your problem. I understood him just fine.

There are no place in Wow for Mac users.
Actually very much considering to sell current pc or swap it for older one to get mac mini m1 16gb version, still waiting how expensive will be m2 ones and if they dont mess up with cooling solutions in new versions just like did macbook air m2. Only downside of macs is they dont heat up room in winter just like gaming PCs.
Other downside is u cannot use caps lock as key bind in WoW.
They have caps lock on keyboard or then it is some kind of wow programming code issue?
hmm I think it’s more due to the way MacOS reads the keypresses, caps lock is seen as only a modifier key like shift so it does not register as normal keypress.
Someone is gonna pull the “unix-racist” card soon:p
Man, wow on mac (under metal 2) running better then on win pc i have 2070ti ryzen 7 pc and i have on classic wotlk in WG fight 40-50fps on full hd, on macbook pro with m1 pro chil i have in wg fight 100-110 fps on 2k resolution
Optimalization on mac is amazing, better then on win
I think they now forced the game to run on a smaller window size so that there is nothing under the notch. OSX has a setting in which you can choose whether each separate application should scale down to fit below the notch or run full screen. Cannot post links, but you can google how to do that. I’ve tested this previously and the game ran correctly and adhered to whatever was selected in the checkbox.
The new way the game runs (ignores the checkbox) and always runs in scaled-down mode is not how it should be.
The Move anything addon was a good way to move things that were covered by the notch. Without sacrificing screen size. I would say that this update is a regression even though it solves the issue for some people.
