Stop with the misinformation, the DT/Stormherald proc-chance is around 1%, which was confirmed by testing on the beta and long confirmed now it’s in peoples hands, we also already knew it was around 1% due to old forum discussions from 2007/2008.
The reason the weapon is good is because of 3.8 speed and high damage range combined with good stats, but it’s still inferior to S3 weapons and miles behind S4 weapons. It’s also going to be replaced by Cataclysm’s Edge in 3v3/5v5 and probably 2v2 among higher rating players.
The main stun is from the mace spec, not the weapon’s stun proc.
I have a profile so if you’d take 2 seconds to look at my profile you would see that I do infact have lots of items/achivements that was only obtainable during TBC. But from someone who’s got their profile hiden and posting on an alt or whatever you are doing I can only assume you’re not really here to post anything constructive anyway
You can armory my character and scroll through achievements too, but hey I experienced mace stun being extremely high proc chance in original BC too. Perhaps you have not played much pvp?
I had games where i was lucky and avoided most, and i had games which went downhill real quick after getting stunned on DR within the first few seconds.
With you having a 2k peak in Arena I would take your “experience” of any sort with a grain of salt, but each to their own. Maybe your experience isn’t quite accurate to how it actually is/
Are you too stupid to check wowhead ? As well as see when this post was made ?
Then again, you are a Rogue named “Ikillulol” im not expecting a lot of intelligence, and by at all I mean room temperature iq at best.
If mace stun proc was 1% you would see a ton of Warriors going sword, as the mace proc would happen once in every 100 attacks on average. Not every 10 seconds on average.
Since I was the one who called you out originally and am stumbling across this again. Proc rate is around 1%, the main stun is from Arms Mace Specialisation and not the weapon proc. Also, tonnes of Warriors are already sword because they crossplay PvP/PVE Arms.
The weapon is working exactly as intended, if it didn’t have the proc at all it would still be the best PvP weapon until S3.
So… a clip that shows a few Esfand big seal twist procs = DT/SH has a 1% proc chance ? Ok… guess il just ignore all the procs I see happening on my Ret. Guy hits a random goat 50 times, gets 2 procs and suddenly that’s all the proof that’s needed.
The ones that don’t care much about pve or play Ret/Arms/Sham in 3s do. The overwhelming number of Warriors, like… 99% use the mace. No, I do not have proof for the 99% claim, I can just tell you out of a legion of Warriors iv only seen one go in with a sword.
Iv said it before, check wowhead proc, and check:
States that the proc chance is 100 (Not %), which means that the proc chance is handled server side and can not be determined from the client files. This is the case for effects with varying chances to trigger (As in its never a flat number). In general it around 10%+/- proc chance. Which is also what wowhead confirms.
But sure, Esfands 1 shot compilation and a random biased Warrior have clearly convinced me that I and what I have seen with my own eyes are in the wrong.
Now, is there a possibility that the rate is different from what all these websites are showing ? Could be, no flat 100% proof anywhere, so it comes down to who you want to believe.
In any case, this post has been necro’d for no reason by a clearly biased “Rogue” who 100% mains a Warrior and is salty because he thinks his mace stuns are a product of his skill.
At least grow a pair and post on your main if you are going to argue with people.
How can u be this stubborn ? Ur flat out wrong about it being 10%, by testing by several other people it is around 1%. jesus christ dude ur wrong stop spreading missinformation like this.
I play a Warrior and have Deep Thunder. I also tested it on the beta ages ago and this has nothing to do with Esfand or any other WoW celeb. I recorded my numbers, the proc chance is 1%. FWIW I also reported a bunch of other bugs on beta and also played a large role in getting Bloodthirst fixed for Warriors (Blizzard responded to me directly). I actually spent some time doing this stuff and testing these procs during beta.
But forget what I’ve said, anywhere you look at anyone who has tested the weapon past or present is seeing the same numbers. You can’t use spell data as any indication because for example Warglaives also show as a 100% proc chance, yet you’d commonly wait 5-15 seconds before a proc outside of the ICD… The wowhead spell data is not always reliably showing what happens in game.
If the weapon did not have the proc at all you would still get stunned by Warriors all day because of mace spec. The weapon is working exactly as intended, you can argue all day that it’s overpowered or whatever but welcome to TBC.
