Recent reports detail the Old God N’zoth’s vicious assaults on Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms having come to a stop, as a result of successful confrontation with the monstrosity. This calls for a celebration. Or rather, this happens to fall in line very conveniently only a few weeks before the Dalaran Magic Faire. As if by chance, the fall of the third Old God coincides with the third ever edition of the Dalaran Magic Faire - this time to be celebrated over three days instead of one. A true mathematician does not believe in coincidence, and for good reasons it seems.
The Dalaran Magic Faire is a server-wide social event for mages of both factions. It will be an evening of socializing, stocking up on your favourite reagents, and learning, to take place on the 30th and 31st of March, and the 1st of April!

Kelly Jendrock, hostess of the Dalaran Magic Faire, will formally open the three day extravaganza at the eighth bell.

- Morgaid Walsh - “Seeing is Deceiving: Illusion & Divination”
Besides her vast experience within the Kirin Tor, Morgaid Walsh debuted on the Magic Faire stage during the second faire, and wowed everyone with her interactive lecture about the School of Divination. Thanks to her talents in teaching miss Walsh has been asked to return once again.
- Astran Dawnhaven & Itlaris Silverspell - “Leylines: A Discussion”
The last few faires have seen a noticable lack of Horde presenters, or atleast non-Alliance faction race presenters. This stops now, with the next two presenters. Dawnhaven and Silverspell come from the Horde Mages Conclave, and we are looking forward to their presentation.

The Researcher’s Open Forum will take place in Aegwynn’s Gallery and is a space for professors and researchers alike to share their brilliance, and ask for help to further their research. Whether you only have an idea for something you would like to test, a hypothesis, or if you have begun conducting experiments or even arrived at a theory - the stage is yours and your peers are at your disposal. How can you take your research a step further?

31st of March:
20.00 Apprentice/Mentor “Speed Dating”
At the eighth bell of the second day, the “One More Glass” wine & delicacies shop will host a “speed dating” event. Mages of varied expertise get matched up in rapid fire question rounds of 10 minutes where aspiring magi can either look for a mentor, or ask their peer any questions they have about magic. After 10 minutes there is a switch.
21.00 Moonball Tournament
The former portal room in Aegwynn’s Gallery has been temporarily refurbished for an epic showdown. Zyretha Snowdawn will lead us through the tournament. Sign-ups not required! Disclaimer: The Kirin Tor is not responsible for potential injuries following the duels, and will not compensate for any medical expenses regarding dizzyness, sleeplessness, severe headaches, dehydration, temporary memory loss and/or bone fractures.
[OOC note: This will be done using the Dazzling Rod toy. It’s a WoD collectible that is not very hard to get, but make sure you have it if you want to parttake in the tournament!]

The Eventide has been equipped with several stalls and wagons, ready to house a multitude of merchants and buyers, and of course goods of the magical sort. Disclaimer: Interest in selling one’s goods at the market must be announced beforehand, and the import to the city will be heavily regulated due to several previous mishaps. The Kirin Tor is not responsible for any potential damage caused to one’s goods during importing and will be confiscated should they not be deemed appropriate for the occasion.

The Redbrew Tavern Co has been hired and flown into Dalaran to take over the Legerdemain Lounge for the evening of the Magical Market. With the highest rating in almost every Stormwind-based publication, the Redbrew Tavern are ready to raise the bar when it comes to Dalaran nightlife standard.
