The Dalaran Magic Faire is a server-wide social event for mages of both factions. The eighth Faire will span from the 24th of April to 27th April! This edition will be hosted by Auxélie with aid for Horde contacts from Zyretha, with kind thanks to Kêlly for allowing us to continue their tradition.

Summary of the Events
Opening Night
The Dalaran Magic Faire will start on Sunday 21st in Aegwynn’s Gallery with a welcoming speech with its new host, Auxélie Stillwind, followed by an opening performance by the fabulous Khari Blackhammer and Absolusion.
TK Studios will then treat the Dalaran Magic Faire with a Magical Fashion Show! The models will show off three collections specifically designed for mages, from robes to casual wear and a selection of battle gear.
Contestants will then be invited to show off their best catwalk and creativity in a Magical Fashion Contest! The participants will be asked to display their “Flair from the Lair” with their best dragonflight inspired outfits in a fierce competition judged by Khari Blackhammer, Tristian and Kazia!
Throughout the whole evening, the Legerdemain Lounge will be present, providing free drinks to everyone! There will be music after the main show until late. Signups in advance for the contest are preferred, with any remaining spaces offered on the day. Reach out to the contacts below to sign up!

Lectures
The Dalaran Magic Faire continues into the week with a series of public lectures and classes on Monday and Tuesday! You’ll be able to learn about many forms of magic, as well as learn new spells and applications of them!

Dalaran Trade Night
The weekly Dalaran Trade Night on Tuesday 23rd will bring life to the streets of the floating city adorned with its most beautiful decorations on every shop willing to take part in the festivities! There will also be spaces to offer public talks during the talk. See above!
Closing Night
The eighth Dalaran Magic Faire will end with a night long entertainment on Wednesday 24th with a game and a closing show, hosted by Absolusion! More details to come!

This server-wide event is being done every 5 months to promote the AD Mage RP Discord server in an attempt to make the mage RP community more tightly knit. We’re a week away from the Faire- Schedule of talks has been updated with the amazing people volunteering their time to teach you more about the Arcane!
Tonight is the night mages of all ages and everyone else who wants to see the magic! We’re beginning with an opening show in The Portrait Room at 20:00 followed my our magical fashion show, with an open bar after party to mingle with other wizards.
We then have lectures all night tomorrow from 20:00 and to accompany the usual Dalaran trade night, another swathe of amazing teachers will be guiding you!
We’ll then have fun and games, along with a big live show on Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing you all this week!
The magic faire continues tonight with talks and lectures for mages of all ages! You’ll be able to find the first of the talks at Krasus’ Landing in (Legion) Dalaran, the rest of the evening’s talks will then be at Antonidas’ Memorial statue!

Sadly only caught onto the very last part of Miss Mori’s illusionary squad, but the evening was filled with learning, networking and a healthy amount of laughter (and drinks). Looking forward to tonight!
The third day of the faire is upon us! In addition to another talk tonight, we’ll have a thematic pub quiz, along with the regular opening of Dalaran stores to browse between it all!

Indeed it is! Tonight we’ll be playing for prizes and enjoying a grand final show before the Faire wraps for the 8th time!

OOC Rules
The game is inspired from “Red light green light”. The players are supposed to reach a certain point at Dalaran, and FREEZE when the “Dragon” (Illusion) will be watching. Those that reach the dragon get a prize, those that are caught will be disqualified from that specific level.
Anyone who wants to play can play, no need for groups, everyone can play at the same time.
There will be three “levels”. Bronze (Easy), Blue (Medium), Black (Hard)
You will start at one side of an area and need to reach the other without moving while the dragon is “watching”
There will be 3 rolls per level of play, although if a player rolls well they’ll may only need to roll 1-2 times
The player does a /roll 20 and emotes accordingly
Any player that wins get a reward pertaining to the level. They keep the reward if they lose a later level.
If a player loses a level, they lose the reward but may still try the next difficulty levels

Been an amazing few days to come back to RP on a more regular basis. Met a bunch of new faces and saw plenty of familiar ones.
The show at the end? Amazing, Absolusion really knows how to tell a story. The effort they put in could really be seen from miles away! And the game was a nice little starter for the evening.
Wish to thank you guys behind this project for the memory and laughter I’ve shared with some. Now begins the wait for the next one…
