No I am simply sick of people trying to find something “disrespectful” in literally anything other says.
My point was simply to say that since they are adding templates and disabling borrowed power feature, they are probably going to tune the challenge as if you were playing it during Argus patch, aka where gear basically played the challenge for you.
I did not call people that did not do it any names, I did not disrespect them, but it is a simple truth, those challenges during Argus patch were basically autocomplete in comparison to earlier patches.
I suck big times with feral, and did not play it up until I wanted to do the challenge because I never cared to do it before. And like, after the first burst Agatha HP were like 50%.
It was not my skill, it was the gear.
So what humility? I am not bragging. Bragging of what what exactly? Of gear carrying me with classes and spec I never touched before?
If someone feel offended by someone else stating that those challenge during Argus were a joke because they were not able to complete them Idk what to say.
Is being bad at a videogame a sin or something? You get executed irl if you are bad at a videogame?
This we agree they on. They will because if they don’t the majority of players will not be able to complete it (which would be a mistake) now if they wanted to make a ‘Heroic’ mode for those that want a challenge I’d be up for that.
But even at ‘Argus’ levels there will still be posts asking for it to be nerfed etc.
I think we are roughly on the same page here so I’ll end it there. Personally I am a bit tired of several posters making out everything is really easy simply because they can do it (there are a group act like a 5 year old could get KSM for example (and by extension that there must be something wrong with you if you can’t)
Okay but this is not a matter of, “I can do it”.
Every challenge suffered from overgear, more dps, more hp, less mechanics, less one shot risk.
That is a fact. Argus patch made it so that you could get it with a bit of dedication.
If some people still found it hard and not able to do it, well happens. We should look at the average, not at people doing it day 1 naked and blindfolded not at those 930+ dumping 300 tries without success.
It kind of is the same.
Like, you should not take as examples people doing KSM with almost 0 gear on day one of the first season of the expansion.
But neither those that struggle with 220+ gear months and months into the expansions.
The fact that those struggles does not mean that KSM that late is hard, same as those doing it day one don’t make it easy.
I have only a healing perspective, but the problem was actually too much hps. We had so many stats it was actually easier on lower. The healing challenge was doing damage on your group based on the amount of health you had yourself. And since like everything critted you killed your group by healing yourself all the time too much. Better unequip some slots. And obviously dont use prydaz, since that made it impossible.
The balance between the classes were not that good too. Like a resto shaman was able to interrupt and stun in the first phase, but what about a holy priest?
Hey don’t change the parameters now… I was reacting to you saying:
“If someone feel offended by someone else stating that those challenge during Argus were a joke because they were not able to complete them Idk what to say.”
That’s not at all what you just said.
Yeah, but you don’t get to say that ‘doing content X with gear Y’ makes it a joke.
For you that might be true. Not for everyone else.
Why would you feel sorry for me for acknowledging a FACT?
I have found great fun in making an OP timewlking set and just demolishing everything. I understand the reason behind the restrictions but still find it lame and boring.
The feedback from PTR will be interesting indeed. Given they have stated the MT will scale up to your ilvl and now them removing all the SL borrowed power…how certain class/specs will cope is hard to see. I hope the PTR testing covers alot of class/spec combinations.
To me it certainly seems to prove that they understand that certain covenant abilities are so unbalanced compared to others - otherwise why disable them?
The problem is that there are classes/specs that will be gutted with no SL abilities. So - yeah maybe next expac if there are no borrowed powers systems at all then this will work - but for the here and now - I struggle to see how many classes will be able to do it unless it is so easy as to not be a challenge.
I’m afraid they’ll just figure: Hey, you can just level up one of the other classes/specs that have this encounter.
They’re already expecting us to level up (and maybe gear up - depending how well ilvl scales the spec template) a minimum of 2 alts to get that mount.
Insane for a timewalking thing. Insane!
