As blizzard is bringing old content with legion m+, why don’t you guys bring back mage tower and other things you can no longer do or buy?

because magetower was tighly designed around specs as they were in legion, and many have been changed now, it would require a complete rework, and at this point is’ts better to use those resources on something new.

Because the items from legion m+ are still obtainable without doing it in that game mode. Only the mode got brought back.

And these are the most expected answers that anyone could give. What the matter with you guys? thats the reason new people are being pushed away, “it was only through limited time hue hue” “ya i was dominating during that period hue hue”, game is dying and all the people that are left are old, not fun to play guys. From blizzard prespective, have u guys released new cosmetic forms for druids? any other weap specific for other classes? no, dks paladins warrios use the same cosmetic now days. i could really share more info but it’s all good, you guys feel good that way that u own time exclusive digital things, and if someone else was to get one u would be mad. just be happy with your own inventory for once.

I think MT need completelly rework and redesigned + scaling and only then going to live. Easier to do something another tho.
Not entirely sure why you suddenly feel attacked. No one said something unreasonable nor bad here. If you wanted time exclusive things back then say that specificly, but then again I would answer differently something like… “people resubbed for that time being to receive such things” so it’s not unreasonable to not bring exclusives back.
I would like mage tower to come along timewalking for legion just for another way of farming badges. It would just be for fun and not really for the “challenge” as I liked just queing for some solo mode other than proving grounds 
Yes, something like MT will be great. But imagine old MT with nowdays warlocks fae mobility. It will be so easy.
The old Mage Tower and it’s appearances should not re-appear. There is no way to recreate the challenge from back them, classes, talents, specs, abilities etc are all different.
It would be wrong to bring this back, same goes for the Challenge Modes for Pandaria and Warlords.
There is very little time limited content in the game compared to the vast catalogue of things that are available forever more. Most people don’t object to them bringing in some kind of recolours, but the actual looks from those things should remain exclusive.
Views are varied ofc.

Nobody mentioned rewards ,people said that classes changed.
I’d be in for bringing them back if they made the rewards something different than you could get back then. Requires too much tuning if you want to try recreate the challenge from Legion days, and giving them out for free in a significantly easier game mode feels cheap. That’s coming from someone who only got their own main class’ skins and could use them on alts.
Ah yes the big army of people who quit solely because of mage tower appearances no longer being in the game. I totally forgot about those players. They surely were the 3 millions.

I’m with the what you call “typical responses”: build a new mage tower instead of getting the old one back with new cosmetics and limited time access, pref 1 mage tower alike thing every expansion. And before you ask, no I did not obtain all the appearances that I wanted to. But I can respect that others did and they should feel good about it.

again this stupid thread if they bring back mage towers, they won’t have any more credibility and people will no longer trust them when they say “time limited item”
brining back mage tower appearances is like bring back old glad elite sets and mounts and it won’t make them special if every noob have them

I don’t think it will be the same, for all the reasons I gave against Mage Tower tbh. My class is not the same as it was back then. Even my Arcane Torrent is different.

Well,sure it’s not going to be exactly the same ,however i believe it will be fun.Now,for gearing issues i am not sure,in adventure guide most trinkets have effects disabled.
