Some “clever” mage on US realms killing the npc quest mob to prevent people to complete the scepter quest (community at its finest).
Wonder if some EU servers experienced the same?

I mean you folk are trying to open up the gates that will unleash an ancient army and a literal God upon the whole continent of Kalimdor and you expect their residents to stand and watch? Ofc course he’s not gona let you, he’s trying to save the Azerothians from theirselves. He’s the hero Azeroth needs

It just shows how you can get away with anything in WoW nowadays.
I remember during my teenage years back in early TBC on my Prot Warrior I spent around 30 minutes keeping the Aldor quartermaster in combat to stop players talking to him before I got a polite message from a GM to cease engaging him in combat.
Yeah I think they don’t have any active GM’s anymore… they don’t create profit really.

Correct, gamemasters were cut some years ago. Most forms of customer support are now automated and issues that actually require Blizzard action can take around half a week for a response.
And if you’re offline when somebody finally reads your ticket? You get a waste of time automated response that doesn’t help at all.
TBH with all the cheating around the scarab lord grind I have lost all interest in the event. When the gates open they open.
