Hehehe, but that’s the way it is. Especially in billion dollar enterprises. I know what i am talking about cause i worked in exact such a scenario for a big german Network Security Company in the NOC (Network operation center) department. 1st we had regular Nightshifts like working at night 1 week a month. That was to expensive. Then we were put to “On call”. This was to expensive too. Then they outsorced the nightwork. Complete chaos ! After the 1 year contract was over they went back to regular nightshifts with us because we demanded it. Hehe, was a nice plus on wages.

But there is a notification on the Realm Status website.
Read the last sentence in the german version, it says “Die Chancen stehen hoch, dass wir bereits an dem Problem arbeiten und der Realm bald wieder verfügbar sein wird.”
Translated to english:
There’s a good chance we’re already working on the issue and the realm will be available again soon.
A “good chance” does not mean they are actually doing it 
I’m fairly sure they aren’t even aware of the issues. I don’t think anyone is at work now, in the middle of the night for them.
It would be too much to ask for a billion-dollar company to have staff available for a live service at all times.

Well… the european classic servers are located in Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm. All the same time zone. Headquarte is Paris. I think they know now and have started to work on it half an hour ago.
We shall see.
Thats always written there. But still a actual post about the status of the servers would be nice.

Keep calm? People pay for a service and want to play. Some people only have limited time to play, and that is perhaps now. I was up early and wanted to grind some levels and watch a few shows with it. Now I ‘need to keep calm and wait’? Blizzard really went downhill, and so are the staff/people that are in maintenance.

If they are working on it, as you say, how come their European Customer Support X account has not posted any update about this? Or anything on these forums, for that matter?

I am not happy with the situation either. But becoming angry ? Nope. I can’t change it therefore i am not getting mad about it. We players are all in the same boat. I just hope they give us 1 day compensation for this… disaster
I will for sure post here if they announce anything or if I see the realms are up!

So I am saying we need game back up asap and all the attention could help. That is what I am saying, and no need to make obnoxious comment about it.
I my self made Tweeter account just so I can see their maintenance and some other announcements as that is only place where they give any info or respond to question.

I wrote “i think they started”. I know how big companies work. That’s what i am trying to explain to you. I wanted to play at 4 AM. When the servers weren’t up at 5AM i knew nobody was working on it. And IT Employees usually don’t start work at 8AM. More like 9AM. So understood now ?
