Back in Vanilla there was a maintenance 1 time every week, now it is often 2 times a week? What the heck?
Did you guys at Blizzard found the old servers linked them all together to host more players and dusted them off a bit and now since they are really old need to get maintenance 2 time a week?
Modern servers today should work better then old ones if you are useing current technology why the heck would you need to have even more maintenance then in Vanilla many years ago?
Are you guys seriously useing dusty old servers to save money even tho Classic just brought you a massive amount of cash?
Blizzard uses new servers. They have a tons of addons, modifiers or whatever running to stop everything that was not in Vanilla showing through. For instance Golden Quest helper arrows from retail. In some zones they keep popping up when you leave an inn or change sub-zone. Relogging makes it disappear. Every single thing that was not in Vanilla, like these arrows, sparkling objects, outlines … you name it, has its own little modifier running.
This might also explain some of the lag.
So, let me get it right.
People keep whining about litterly everything, and when blizz actualy try to fix stuff (hence the maintance) you gonna whine about that.
Blizzard cant win with so manny buggers like you around.
I’m not whining over maintenance. I’m giving a shot on the reason why - new servers being unstable and laggy due to Blizzard fixing everything with extensions/addons instead of cleaning the scripts.
Dude. Blizzard have no problem if people log on to Retail and find it good again. Its their dream, they wanna say, ”we told you soo”.
Classic community has had the least players to blues community since ever, we dont exist.
Because one streamer boy in twitch makes people buy mounts for 40 euro each
blizzard 15 years ago it was down 8 hours every 7 days , did u advance 1 inch from then ?
don’t even want them to gimme the game time back I want to play and not wait this much , blizzard ??? get ur stuff in line plz and do things faster , hour or two should be more then enuff
what the actual f is going on with this weekly maintenance now… lmao 3:00 - 11:00… i was surprised when this happened with the introduction of BG’s, but to see it again today is just apocalyptically disappointing.
Let’s just hope they use this prolonged maintenance to fix all bugs, remove all the non-Vanilla things, remedy the lag, educate the Hunters’ pets, give Paladins their Reckoning back, and re-calibrate honour.
