about topic, you don’t really need runecloth pattern because you cannot make money out of it. All the professions are meaningless because of massive amount of bots farming everything.
all you can do with tailoring is to level it 290 and craft mooncloth.
I just want to make bags for my alts :). And yes, loads and loads of bots on anniversary 
It still gets you from 275 to 300 tailoring with a 5-20s profit per point instead of a loss.
That being said, farming that pattern is no different than farming any other pattern in the open world, and it’s price reflects that. Getting it takes about an hour or two of focused effort, hence the price. You can just stand at the vendor and spam the macro from wowhead page, interact with target, buy slot 30 and 31, close window. Bots are slow, if you do it like that you will get the pattern before them.
But why should you have to make a macro to be able to beat bots that are illigal in the first way. Back in vanilla, there was no bots, we had some chinese players, but for a person to stand in front of a vendor 24/7 was not profitable when they could be farming other stuff. Now they just make another bot for that. Becouse of all the bots, they should either;
A: make limted supply, endless supply
B: Make recepies BoP or BoA. Both of those option would solve the entire problem.
