It is so clear, you have failed hard about bots, 3rd party click delay programmes, and rmt both in classic and retail. And you will fail harder in tbc, because tbc was famous with its botting fiesta.
So you can give all legit players in-game automation option. Like you did with /follow, you can do it with a /bot command.
Yes please. If i see even 1 bot in bc launch , just gonna play some fresh classic here and there if they release it and do some retail at the same time
You can print my post and hang on a wall, if you take a look at it after few years the only thing that will change is the color of ink that faded away.
Blizzard already lost against bots long long ago … Even they ban players botting till blizzard bans them they make much more than that banned acount’s cost. So we started to feel like dumb cuz we2re not making botting accounts
It is not an option, as you can see it does not help. It is even worse with token, because botters don’t need to pay subscription, they just buy game time with botted gold.
I believe one of the problems is that people seem to assume that using the report feature doesn’t do anything in regards of bots.
However I have used this feature a lot of classic and I have received multiple ingame mails thanking me for reporting a “player”.
But that’s only for the bots you encounter in the outdoor world. Just do a /who to various dungeon’s and you will see them being filled by mostly unguilded players all of the same class.
For example Rogue’s that pickpocket 24/7 in LBRS.
There was a known bot at yetis on Mograine, a human warrior. I reported him
for 1 month repeatedly. And i didnt report anyone else. Spam report the very same guy.
I got that mail, but the guy didnt get the ban. He is still farming there.
That mail is a lie, they send it after x amount of report, not after a ban. There is no ban in classic.
