So, I want to make an alt for gold farming and I am a bit torn between hunter and druid.
I don’t really want a mage because I am not very fond of casters.
Both hunters and druids are good levelers and farmers so I would like to know your input on this matter, both instanced farming and world farming are to be considered.
Of the 2 classes I think you’ll have a happier time with a Hunter.
If you can power through your dislike for mage though, they really are the best farmers for classic. Obviously its up to you, farming is boring at the best of times, so playing a class you dislike to farm with is probably a no go.
Well, none of them are good with aoe farming as far as I know and I’ve never really heard of druids being good farmers. Can they solo stronger mobs, like hunter?
This pretty much comes down to the class you think you’d enjoy most. Personally, I’d go for hunter just cause they’re cooler and more straight-forward.
Ice mages used to be THE AoE farmer with the talents that give your blizzard a slow effect. Gather up a bunch of mobs and snow them to death without being touched once.
