You were talking about non-RP players; Not specifically singling out people that came over for Asmongold.
There’s a lot of players on Argent Dawn that don’t RP at all; Do you think they should leave the realm?

I have already answered this question and my answer was and still is:
Yes
This was answered already, can’t you read?
Roleplaying servers are for people who roleplay.
It’s simple.
I accept your surrender lol
Mimimimita, your question about wanting to have non-RPers leave the realm tells me you know rather little about the AD community, especially the AD forum community. How come you’ve ended up in this thread, actually? Was it linked on Asmongold’s twitter or something?
I was in Stormwind when he came around and people were talking in trade about it.
Wrong. Wow is an MMORPG, not a roleplaying game, talking about rpgs like dragon quests, do name a game from the genre that is actually an rp game? I will answer for you, none.
Massively multiplayer online role-playing games ( MMORPGs ) are a combination of role-playing video games and massively multiplayer online games in which a very large number of playersinteract with one another within a virtual world.
Are you really this dim?
Why do you bother to continue an argument you have already forfeit
Your initial response to my answer to “do you really think that […]” made that clear as day my lost son

I know what this means very well, but it’s nothing like true rp, in a rpg, you play a char (hero) from that world, doing quests, dungeons, fighting bosses and so on. Rping is a completely diferente thing. So yeah, why are you being so dumb?
Every person has a different level of investment in role-playing their character. There is no application process or schooling required to participate in RP.
Just creating a character and giving it a name on any realm is role-playing.
There is no other requirement besides that to do RP:
Anybody can make a character, give it a name and then basically speak to people and even if they basically act like themselves it would be RP.
Oh and don’t come with made-up elitist RP garbage as that is just what you feel should be the way but isn’t at all required to RP. You don’t decide on how somebody RP’s and how invested they should be in their character.

Yes, and there are encourage to do so.

And weren’t, but again, if you have no interest in rp at all get out. I find it funny how fast you change opinions yet still don’t seem to understand at all what we posted, but since you seem to be new, I will give you a pass.
Wow I like OOCers they are so cool!

I… wasn’t expecting that from you….

Well, no. The idea of ROLE PLAY is the you a play a role that is not yourself, and the idea of roleplay on a particular game is that you roleplay a character with a name, background and personality befitting the setting.
What you’re suggesting is the equivalent of turning up to a fantasy DnD session and saying “yeah, but, I’m pretending that I have a laser gun, so what’s your problem bro?”.
edit/for the record: RPers who play as if its second life or something and have characters entirely disconnected from the setting are just as bad as people who don’t RP at all and frequently dump on RP.
Now that I check, ofc they have no idea what rping is about, they are Probably Just Another fan or Just someone who wants spotlight, otherwise I will have to ask? Why are you on AD forums instead of Ravencrest? What goes on another server but your own shouldnt concern you, and if you come with the excuse “Ah, I have an char on AD.” If that is the case post on it instead or leave a server’s forums that have nothing to do with you if all you are Going to do is insult us.

What part of ROLEplay do you not understand?
What part of ROLEplay do you not understand?
Keep in mind you are speaking to an outsider, so dont expect them to understand what rp is.
Wasn’t it written by Blizzard that the idea was to immerse yourself in the actual game world to RP? Not just potter around as yourself but a different species.
