Marriage in WoW

If I marry someone IRL and in game, am I being virtually polygamous?

Do I get a discount on the moneysinks when I marry someone?

My server (Darkspear) is full of horde, I am so lonely, but not lonely enough to marry someone from the horde

You should never marry anyone just out of being lonely

This has now been implemented.

I need a stat boost, pls marry me.

No one?

By the power vested in me by the state of Elwynn, I now pronounce you as War Couples

lol with whom?

Oh would you look at that. But then, look at the date. Hah!

Oh, I didn’t notice.

I guess I’d want a divorce if I had managed to get my character married then.

I don’t think that’s how it works. :[

Unless you’re a man 100+ years ago with tons and tons of money of course, but we ain’t going there, and besides this character is female.

Fun fact my grandfather escaped across Denmark (before the bridges and public address registries) to escape an arranged marriage. Yay for 100 years ago…

But in world of warcraft anything is possible

So what? I got an extra wand in my bag precisely for these reasons. Or an extra staff. Depending on your tastes.
