Well can you blame them with the current social political climate, i mean much of our entertainement has been ruined due to forced divercity. Im a comics guy or atleast i used to be, many of the characters i used to look up to have been gendre, race and sexuality swaped and the lgbt agenda was shuved so far up my troath i started pucking rainbows. Also i am not saying this will be the case here im just saying that people are rightfully fed up with and are cautious about it.

representation is important dude. do you know how many mainstream romcoms, coming of age movies about straight people are there? all of them minus one. there’s only ONE mainstream movie with a lgbt dude as the lead. in 2020 lol
there isn’t an agenda, the world is changing, people have grown tired of watching, seeing, hearing the same thing over and over again. we live in a world of so many unique and different people and you only get representation of one type of those people across the board.
this is changing because people want to see more diversity in all forms of media. we should celebrate just how unique we all are instead of sticking to the same old, tired format.

That is because the majority of people who go to see those movies are straight. I don’t have a problem with gay characters, but it’s not illogical that most of the characters in certain entertainment are straight people, because, most people, are straight. Sorry to break it to you.

I will admit, as a young child I did want to be a dinosaur when I grew up. I later managed to pick more realistic and achievable lifestyle goals.
As to those referencing the B.C period, then yes, in that period just about every society was indeed totally cool with same sex relationships, indeed in some, like the Romans it was deemed a perfectly acceptable way of gaining political power, and in some like those macho Spartans it was almost compulsory. The Poet Sappho made same sex female relationships mainstream and indeed we get the L in LGBT+ from the Island she originated from. Most Tribal and Shamanic cultures were utterly cool with it, and they were pretty good with Trans as well, many cultures thinking nothing of a man or woman dressing as the opposite sex to better represent the fact that they were something -between- states, in the same way that seashores, dawn and Dusk and edges of Forests were seen as ‘magical’ because they were -between- two states.
It is only with the coming of the Abrahamic faiths that it started to be condemned, and that’s how we ended up where we are.
Azeroth has no Abrahamic religions, so there is no cultural reason why it would be seen as ‘wrong’ or anything silly like that.

that movie was a success. so was black panther, a movie with an all black cast, director and screen writer. so was wonder woman, a female lead movie.
people want to see more than just white, straight people being white and straight.

Like i said before i am a minority and i have had 0 representation. I dont care for it or for divercity. If the story is good i dont care if the cast is all male, female, gay, black, indian or dragon.

you’re missing my point dude. gay, black, female etc LEAD type of mainstream media hasn’t always been a thing.
it’s a new thing that seems to resonate a lot with more and more people and it shows that the success these movies have had that the world is changing and it needs more of it, not less.

Are you kiding me with this ? Idk about gay but we have had alot of female and/or black leads. This is a narative that has been spining for the last few years while people ignore the likes of Ripley, Blade , Shaft, Lara Croft , Sarah Connor etc.

That’s not really what people’s issue is, I’m sure.
Black panther is black, because that’s how the character is…It’s a whole different ball game than say, taking a character from an established franchise and suddenly making him a her, or her a lesbiene,just because, or making another character that was Always described as white - black.
That’s forced, and that’s what people are fed up with, and I can’t blame them. It doesn’t help anyone, it doesn’t make stuff beter, it only creates unnecessary strife, because you could just aswell start from scratch and create a whole new character with all the atributes you felt needed representation and give them their own story…now that things have been pushed so far already, naturally most stuff is going to come across as ‘forced’ and in allot of cases ‘utterly cringy’.
Because, as I wrote in my earlier post, everything about that character is then defined by their skincolor/ gender/sexual orientation….I mean really, up so far that shett isn’t selling wel, and to be frank, why should it? It’s doing the complete opposite of what it claims to be goaling for.

I can confirm for you that there is no reachable planet upon which we can live as yet.
So, I guess we’re just having to stick with this one.
As for a Forced Agenda, what would you describe a religion demonising people for something pretty normal, that everyone was alright about? Is that a forced agenda?
I mean, it was, it is still a capital offence in some countries, which sounds pretty forced to me.
