Id take a 1 hour freezing login screen over the stutters any day of the week and weekend!

I just reply here to bump this post and pray for a fix from devs.
I have FPS drops, Stuttering too. I’m on a good PC, rtx3060, max ram, good Ryzen.
(Already contacted Bliz assist, tried many things, nothin really help at the end.)

We are aware that some players are experiencing stuttering while playing World of Warcraft. This issue is currently under investigation and I’m afraid we don’t have any workarounds we can offer at this time. If you haven’t already try our general performance troubleshooting guide to rule out any other possible causes:
If issue persists then we will need to wait for our Dev team to get this resolved. Hopefully it won’t take them too long to do that. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Interesting that they didn’t even mention the disabling sound workaround, guess they’re (rightly) embarrassed to mention it.

In the meantime, disabling sound in game does seem to be a workaround for many of our players.
Doesn’t do anything on the systems I’ve tested. Everything low/off vs everything max/on has literally zero difference as far as the stutter/pop-in issues.

Playing wow with sound again would be sick… 
They keep changing stuff under the hood all the time. Would be fantastic if these technical changes were included in patch notes aswell.
I read in wow roadmap that only in summer there will be system updates.
That refers to ingame system updates such as talents and the like.
You sure ? Because after all this time,i doubt even in summer this is fixed.
I have ‘fixed’ my game becoming playable by turning sound off. I am currently playing at minimum quality as well. With sound on, game was unplayable. At least stuttering reduced greatly.
Yeah, the system update is simply what Gridh said as well as additions to edit mode etc. The performance problems is swept under the carpet.

so 2 months and still game is unplayable in many places … how the hell is this allowed
Performance wise this is the worst expansion. I’m playing this game since early stage of TBC and I never seen so much indolence and lack of professionalism. Also have to mention communication which is so poor. I payd for the game and still paying for the subscription. Feeling so cheated by Blizzard like never before.
