there is nothing else to say, the problem is your nvidia driver not the game
i at least tried 5-6 driver versions from last year some which worked perfectly fine with the game before 10.0 i would like the issue to be on my side, that would mean that i could fix it. But im afraid that its not and some ppl just ignore it tbh.
I’ve done that on all systems I’ve tested, still same stutters and pop-ins. Go troll somewhere else.
You must be kidding xD it’s not working dude. Who do you think we are?! The only retard here is YOU!
Getting regular stutters here too. 12700k, RTX 3080, 32GB DDR5@5600, game installed on a gen4 M.2 drive.
There’s a thread on the US forum with over 1200 comments and around 50,000 views on this exact subject. Little to no feedback from Blizzard.
you still claim its the game yet i dont have any stutter how come?
but i would like some video proof now coz i simply do not believe that you get the exact same stuttering on dx11, did you at least delete the NV-cache folder?
best you can do is type in windows search bar “exploit protection” and disable every single option there there is like 8 or so, restart and it might straight up fixes it
Ladies and Gentleman, I present you ignorancy and incompetence at its finest level. Apperantly your skill for reading feedback and reports by players are zero/nada. Can’t you see that people with AMD also have this problem? Can’t you see that people also tried to make clean uninstall of drivers and also tried various different methods like clean installing both old and new drivers? Are you that blind to see that this problem is persistent in variety of different machines & builds? I’ve personally tested this issue on two different machines, both with different hardware and drivers, both with/without latest windows kernel update and clean installation of the OS. Yet here you are talking bs and claiming that you have resolved everything and the problem for sure is the Nvidia drivers which makes you incompetent. Also I do not believe that your stutterings are fixed without proving it to us… and by proving I mean fully fledged benchmark that have all the performance marks like stability / low 1% fps / avg fps / latency etc. with dragon riding also. So yeah, basically talking on the forums like you are the saviour here of all the performance problems even that Blizzard admits there is a problem is total bs.
why are you even lying retard, there is not a single person under this post that has AMD card, but sure i will record it in a bit and show you that i got no stutter, just give me an hour or so i ll come back
also you know what else is hilarious that idiots actually think streamers get to play on a whole different game client thats why they dont stutter, it must be the streamer priviliges totally nothing wrong with your PC/settings
Again you are showing that you haven’t read anything related to this issue, neither here or on different topics. You can open the US forums and also different topics on this forum regarding this issue and you will see numerous reports from people using AMD gpu. So yeah, its a no brainer to make even a slight debate with a child like you.
I think that’s enough for moderators to mute your account and be over with you. Make your reseach first before posting garbage talk. I will not argue with an ignorant and incompetent guy like you.
Stop trying to be smarter than others lol. If you don’t have this problem that doesn’t mean that this just don’t exist! Also Blizzard works on this they already know that it’s problem in game.
“the stutter on pop ins is 100% caused by shader caching so it is your video cards driver that is the issue, maybe ask Nvidia instead to update it” you know that Blizzard removed this shader function already? XD at first days of prepatch launch.
Guys just please use flag button and report him.
we all think they are talking about other issues, lag in zones, phasing and stuff, because they called them “unexpected” so its mostly server load.
This we are having are hardly unexpected been so for over 1 month, and even if not acknowledged officially still they are aware of them. So dont get your hopes up i think that problem is not our stutters
Same problems with FPS
PC:
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060
24 GB RAM
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core 3,4GHz
Dx12
And btw I tried absolutely everything …clean install of OS (Win11) …graphic drivers…everything
How am I exactly spreading BS? I am literally writing down what I observe and ask for feedback to try to validate my hypothesis. In no way shape or form am I suggesting that this IS the only issue or that it is even the root cause. On the other hand you are stating the shader caching as a fact while based on the comments here it is clearly not that simple, so who is exactly spreading BS?
You clearly don’t have issues with the game. I am sure an incredibly smart person such as yourself have better things to do than comment on a thread where he can’t help people.
I also noticed that I get always fps stuttering when another player appears in my radius.
Very annoying if you are Dragonriding somewhere and then you get a mikro stuttering. This should be fixed asap, because it is something, which is definitely WoW related. And the fact that this issue is existing since the Prepatch launch on 25.oct doesn’t give much hope to be fixed. IMO it has a massive negative impact on the gameplay expierence! I also tried everything, to fix it, nothing helped. I can’t recognize any similar problems in any other game…
video evidence or you are just saying that, show me a clip of your frametimes flying around near valdrakken and ill tell you how good is your potato pc,i have a 4090 from ASUS ROG sucking 1300 watts from a 1600 watts asus thor psu,a asus rog maximus mb,a 13900k,32 dd5 ram, nvme, asus swift monitor with 280 hertz and cpu gsync (not compatible gsync) more than 20 games on the pc and only wow stutters since the pre patch.
so its impossible your game runs good on that potato.
only wow do that since dragonflight client downloaded on my pc,its the same on 4 machines i have, from 4090 to 1080 to 1030 to integrated graphics, all same stutters.
you are just another troll.
The only stuttering I get is loading areas with players in them. Or when Flying around sometimes. Mostly smooth all other times. Bad FPS drops in battleground with a large amount for players. Graphics settings don’t affect the FPS.
10900k @ 5.1GHz
DDR4 4000 CL15 (overclocked and tuned timings)
(CPU and RAM get a score of 15500 in the Time Spy CPU test)
NVMe drive used.
MVidia RTX 3080 TI (no overclock and stock power limit)
Top quality 1000 watt psu.
Running at 1080p upscaled to 4k.
Be nice to hear an official response that this is actively being worked on. A thread on the US forums got a response yesterday saying they know of the issues and are working on it but then provided the redundant config change we know does nothing so I’m not sure if that was just a copy paste reponse.
