Dude, when 10 was released cachlessshadermode was set to 1 by default. Thats why everyone was stuttering for that reason. Blizzard then quickly reverted it and put it to 0 by default. Meaning, you now cache shaders like you did before 10. Stutters remain. Do you follow?
DX11 legacy, DX11 or DX12. No change. Issue remains. We are literally talking about something different. You are literally lost.
can you provide video evidence of you playing on dx12 with stutter and then going in the menu and switching the API to 11, i really wanna see it
Dude, it just became evident that you are clueless. You didnt even know the basics regarding the cacheless command. Why are you on here?
provide evidence in a form of video without splicing otherwise i just assume you are lying like the one before, stop dodging
When the pre-patch came out GxAllowCachelessShaderMode was set to “1” by default.
A lot of people were stuttering since the game was now using their s(SSD/HDD) as cache. a bandaid workaround solution was posted by someone and then picked up and spread further by blizzard. That is the post about setting GxAllowCachelessShaderMode to 0. In other words, setting it to what it was in Shadowlands. The suttering we are talking about remained. Literally a seperate issue. Stop doing drugs and touch grass.
Are you dense? It’s literally not the same issue. Are you trolling?
come back when you recorder the stutter
Why are you running defense for Blizzard? Regardless of GFX API the game hitches/stutters when new players are loaded in. There is a post on the US forums with over 100+ replies talking about this where they specifically say it has nothing to with the command changed by Blizzard.
I have done a bunch of troubleshooting. Tried removing anyting that can interfere from my end. Even messed around with which timer windows is using for the game to see if that changed anything. Even did a full clean install of windows with nothing but WoW on it. Of course I’ve tried differnet graphics APIs. Please this is embarrassing
stop dodging
Read… what… I said.
Do you want to jump on discord right now and we can go through everything I’ve done so far on the righ I’m testing this on.
no i just wanna see you swap from dx12 to 11 on video
Want me to try DX12 with MSI mode and without and DX11 with MSI mode and without cus I’ve done that aswell.
Why are you staying on the gfx api after you got clowned on about the cacheless mode? You literally told people to set it to “1”. Which is what caused the sutters during pre-patch and made blizzard go out and tell people to set to “0” in the meantime. You are a clown man. You have no idea what you are talking about.
still dodging, how hard can it be to record a 2 min video, or are you admitting of lying?
You havent even acknowledged that you were clueless what cachelessshadermode even was yet. I’ll tell you this tho. The frametimes on dx11 are better for sure. The issue remains tho.
I’m not going to upload a 60fps video to prove something that Blizzard has already gone out and acknowledged. You’re a troll, do better.
Seeing lower fps overall on dx11 vs dx12 but the drops during the stutters are lower. Meaning the frametime variance is better on dx11. I’ll give you that much. Still does not solve the issue.
i wonder why, as it would prove that you are lying and i was right
