Massive FPS Drops.. game's stuttering, nothing works

Why would I be lying. What do I have to gain? If swapping to DX11 would fix my game I would ride off in to the sunset. Is the frametime variance better? Yes. Is it a fix? No.

Anyway. I appreciate you actually engaging with me in a coversation. Its more than one usually gets on these forums. Insults aside, they dont bother me anyway.

You could have posted a video yourself, but the incessant verbal abuse shows your preference in how to engage in conversation.

The issues are still present regardless of API

Just a note

He’s just trolling but I have no any clue why still Blizzard do nothing with him. God damn how long can we read this mo*on’s posts.

change the direct X dont change nothing…
sttutering continues

Indeed, all DX11 does is cut the fps in half and same stutter.

why do you keep tha troll entertained i read some of the discussion you really are masochist, ignore him for the sake of us all, he will get bored to be ignored and move.

Which I told the guy. He was confused. Dont listen to him.

I don’t know how this guys is still not muted… I got muted for way less and even censored my words… Spreading misinformation and cursing, just mute him.

Lets just hope they can fix this stuff as soon as possible. I’d like to enjoy the game. I know we are on the EU forum were we are second-class citizens comparee to the NA forum but it would be great if they could come out and acknowledge this issue. Again, this has nothing to do with the specific command CachelessShaderMode.

Wish i could have refunded. But i played too much and it wasnt that bad when leveling. Now it’s unplayable tank pulls 5 packs and my game freezes.

I’ve made a reddit thread to bring this to more peoples attention. The EU forums are dead so our best bet is to draw attention to it through other websites. If enough people know about it perhaps we’ll finally see a comment from Blizzard.

Do you have any error on WINDOWS Event Log when that happens?
I had:
Origin: nvlddmkm
\Device\Video3
Error occurred on GPUID: 800

That is not what we are talking about here. In dungeon content and in open world as long as new people dont keep popping in and out the game is fine. We are specifically talking about the stutter that happens when a new person shows up and the game does something with information regarding that new player.

try what the other guy on reddit suggested CORGI toy, which lets u see other ppl as corgi, actually i think he is onto something, in valdrakken it did perform better

Weird thing is, I got a laptop for work and to game on the go (i7 12700H, 3060, 16gb DDR5 4800mhz) no stutters/bad performance. On my desktop (i9 9900KF, 3080, 32gb DDR4 3000mhz, I get a lot of performance issues, lower fps and a lot of stutter. Especially when dragonriding fast and textures need to load in. It’s annoying.

oh wow its almost as its an nvidia driver issue just what i said, who would have guessed it

After my GeForce update, it messed with my settings. I just uncheck the “Max foreground FPS toggle” and everything went back to normal.

New nvidia drivers
Same problems,no diferente…
No words from Blizzard no nothing…
Keeps the same

But do you have that error on Windows Event Log Viewer?

The current stutter that a lot of people are having seems somewhat alleviated by turning off ingame sound and then restarting the client. Its not a fix but its something.
