Master Loot

Today I swapped to master loot in middle of a boss fight but the loot that dropped was still on group loot needs/greeds.

I remember distinctly from vanilla wow in 2005 that this would result in the loots actually becoming master loot (so I had to hand them out to ppl).

Have they made a change from Vanilla on this ?

To prevent people like you from decieveing a whole raid!
Thumbs up for this change!

Good, that scummy behavour can stay in 2005.

Frankly it’d be a terrible deception anyway. Would you join a raid that explicitly says it will use Group Loot? That’s just asking for the whole encyclopedia of creative reasons to press the need button.

Yes, but arent they bragging about keeping all details that can be kept the same, the same ?

The more pertinent question is why were you changing the loot system after the boss had been tapped and the fight started?

Irrespective of what the loot change mechanic is or isn’t that is dishonest in the extreme

They made minor changes in multiple instances, but they try to keep it close as possible to original. This change was a good thing because it prevents scummy behavior.

You tried to behave like a greedy scum and you failed - this is a good day

I smell a troll though…

Not really, they changed quite a few things outright.

I did it to hinder ninjaing, certain ppl were being very rude to each other in chat, but that is very uninteresting. What Blizz does is the interesting part.

Alright people. If you reserve an item and forget to put on master looter before boss that sucks, and people sure as hell aint gonna help you remember to master loot baron :stuck_out_tongue: you might have to do it midfight. Good to know that dosn’t work.

Anyway, this is probably for the best in 99% of cases.

So again, if we dont remember if this was so back in Vanilla, will we ever get the info from Blizz how it was back then ?

Sry can’t remember how it was hopefuly some1 else does. Just play with ok players and u will be fine

Yeah they made that change a while ago to stop scummy people from flicking it on at the end of a fight to steal all the drops.
It’s a necessary change (wait, change? Oh no this means we’re going to get LFD now nooooo…).
