Matchmaking will ABSOLUTELY shorten queues. it will remove the friction that stops them from queuing in the first place.
Matchmaking fixes everything. It gives everybody fair and anonymous runs based on skill.

well proof is battle blitz and you get done without having tanks leave during first boss / healers fake DC
far superior experience
Mythic + experience is downright bad.
Pvp dev team is far better than the pve dev team.
atlest you get to play the game.
If you dont know how to step by step insert the key in lfg and invite people though the lfg, just say so, will make a short 30 sec video on how to do it.
Sure and even your lowest c tier class(with an exception to aug) has done a 15. The fact that a class theorycrafter can make his class shine doesnt mean every random pug can do it.
I still have people failing cinder barels at beer elemental boss with rio 3k.
And performance data? Uda already asked that so wont repeat myself.
Before making this wild claims. How about actually put your own key on the table instead leech off of others and throw tantrum when you can hook up on anothers key.
Its evident you havent done a single your own key with pugs…but make some wild claims about people who put their keys out in the public.
Go back to your own thread and keep this on topic.
all the other soloque system in the game say otherwise x)
How? Where are those extra tanks and healers coming from?
It might shorten times for dps using the groupfinder though, that’s true.
Aug has also done 15s, a whole 3 augs even😂
much better than downloading weak aura auto clicker to get decline due to not meta.
then having healer / tank alt f4 first pull.
You just admitted it. you don’t want fairness, you want control. control over who plays and who gets excluded. All because you’re terrified of running with someone who might not carry you. All good you’re trying to protect your ego. So you agree the LFG filters players before they get a chance to prove themselves. That’s exactly the flaw matchmaking solves. Letting players play and not sit in LFG because they don’t already have high IO. You manually picking people doesn’t simulate matchmaking. Matchmaking uses data and performance metrics for balanced games.
The Healer shortage is caused by the toxic environment in LFG. they’re expected to carry and get blamed when things go wrong. Matchmaking reduces that toxicity significantly because the elitism is gone.
What’s insulting is thinking you’re entitled to hand pick teammates while everyone else sits out. If you want guaranteed success then go and run with your premade. But if you queue for public content expect public standards. That’s the trade off.
blizzard should add solo shuffle m+ Honestly it was the best experience to pvp i’ve ever had in a life time.
No requiring to be this and that. You just gear up and go. Remove elitism and meta just let us play what we choose its a mmorpg and pve in wow is dead.
they are but you cant call wow a traditional mmorpg with all the idiotic artificial timegates etc
even if one wanted to grind they literaly cannot because things like crest caps exist.

IRL is like that though. I ran to work and got gassed and it took ages. Then my calves blew up 5 minutes into the run home and I had to walk. Then I could barely walk for a week. Then my spine went. I’m now having knee issues.
I’m possessed by a demon of running however I physically cannot run as much as I’d like to.
I’m also possessed by a demon of keys, I’d never leave them if there was no timegate.

Its like irl work you and you i want but you on the other hand we don’t i kind of agree on this.
You use a weak aura to apply to keys?
I just apply to groups. I’m not meta either.
Puny, throw us a popcorn gif please
Im sorry but as tank and healer u are rarely getting declined
The matchmaking system exists to put you AGAINST other people with similar MMR. So MMR is a measure of personal skill. Not group skill. And that works.
But M+ too much depends on the group. So you have to tell me how a data-point that measures GROUP performance will translate to a PERSONAL number (you) that will determine which group you get assigned to.
First how do you measure group performance to begin with. Then, how do you extract the contribution of each member to that performance. And then that would be the number you assign to an individual.
And the SoloQ would do the same calculation in reverse to know who you are matched with.
Give details how you would measure all this. Otherwise its wimply wishing for Elephants to Fly.
Every competitive system in gaming that involves teams uses MMR. It’s used everywhere.
from forum enjoyer pov i think mmr m+ would be amazing content
No it wouldn’t. If you have no control over who’s in the group it’s a disaster waiting to happen
The argument for soloQ is that it will make queues shorter. And that’s not going to happen because very few tanks and healers will use it. So instead of re-applying for an hour in LFG, you will be alt+tabbed on youtube for 2 hrs waiting in an automated queue.
If you think this is a better experience, alright, go ahead and queue up.
Currently, with the manmade group, even for the lowest level of M+, (e.g. M+2), people will pick up the highest ilevel and score possible dps (e.g. 3k score and 660 ilevel), instead of a sufficient dps (e.g. 1k score & 640 ilevel).
So a low level dps (tank/healer) will always spend longer time than high level dps (tank/healer) for find a group, even if their level is enough for what they apply.
It is simply because the group is manmade. And people will always pick up highest level applicant possible, regardless of M+ level.
In automated queue, as long as one has the item level needed to queue, everyone has the same chance:
E.g. if 630 item level is required to queue M+2, then a 630 player and a 660 player will have the same chance. first queue = first in. 660 player will not have faster queue than 630. And 630 player will not be rejected, simply because it is automatic and there is no human screening.
At the same time, there is still advantage for high level players in high level M+. e.g. if M+10 requires 650 item level, then a 630 won’t be able to queue at all.
So, yes, it will be a much better experience for new players stepping into M+. They can at least have a higher chance to get a group, instead of the vicious cycle of constant rejection for newbies.
